Stayed Aug 16, 2025We had a wonderful family reunion in the lovely home. It is so much more than a cabin!!! The homeowners were so welcoming and responsive any time a question came up, and very hrlpglful when we left something behind. The home was so tastefully furnished with high quality linens and toiletries. The property was perfect for the range of grandkids visiting, with plenty of space for everyone and great beach toys. The freshwater pond was perfect and a very relaxing setting.--shalow enough for quite a distance for the young ones to find frogs but deep enough for the parent and older kids to enjoy the SUP boards, kayak and rowboat. We also enjoyed the firepit for evening S'mores!Livingston Manor is a cute little weekend town. Many of the little shops open on Thursday-Sunday. We also enjoyed great hiking trails nearby. We would love to return!

Stayed Jul 12, 2025Absolutely stunning & well-appointed house with dreamy property- way trendier than pictured. The whole ambiance is luxurious & kitchen/bathrooms are completely stocked with everything you need. All linens & toiletries are uniform with refills/extras readily available, including a First-Aid kit & cleaning supplies/tools. A note for groups without kids: the house only sleeps 12 adults. The bunk rooms are listed as having 4 twins each, but 1 of the 4 bunks are child-sized futons (they are gorgeous, new, sturdier beds than the ones pictured.) There is no insulation between rooms, so the 4 rooms that all share walls/ceilings/floors can hear conversations/noises like they are in the same room. (Carpet pictured in photos has been replaced with very pretty rugs!) King room is above kitchen, so you can hear everything between those rooms as well. Not a problem for sound sleepers or considerate guests!Firepit area, landscaping, outdoor seating & path to pond are all even more beautiful & updated than photos. The walk through the woods to the water is extremely curated & well taken care of, it was magical heading down there every day to relax on the shore dock, freestanding deck, or in the screened-in shed. The house feels like a luxury hotel, the hosts have thought of every detail including thoughtful welcome gifts & were very easy to communicate with. We HIGHLY recommend this wonderful oasis on a dirt road near adorable towns & fabulous food. Can't wait to go back! Thank you!

Stayed May 29, 2025The Clearwater Cabin is quite a gem. Newly renovated bathrooms, and five bedrooms, we had plenty of space to spread out. The kids enjoyed the basement / game room. The private, short trail walk to the lake was full of natural beauty. The lake is clear and clean, shallow near the shore making it perfect for all of us. Will be back !!

Stayed Apr 22, 2025I love this house and brought my friends and their family to stay this time. It did not disappoint. The house has seen a bunch of improvements, which was a nice surprise because it was already so cozy. The only downside was we couldn't stay longer. Hopefully, we'll be back. Lauren is so communicative and responsive to all of our annoying questions. I couldn't ask for a lovelier host!

Stayed Sep 13, 2024We visited in May for Mother's Day and returned last weekend. On both visits, Lauren was an exceptional and accommodating host. The grounds are stunning, and the lake offers a serene escape. The area offers an abundance of activities to keep the kids entertained, ensuring plenty of things to do. We recently took the kids apple picking at a nearby orchard, where the fall foliage is just starting to show its colors. We can't wait to return.

Stayed Jun 29, 2024Clearwater Cabin was the perfect place for some quality down time to gather with our adult children & grandson. During our stay, we only went as far as the center of Livingston Manor to explore the shops. Our time together was spent primarily on the water, first early morning with coffee listening for birds while using our Merlin app to identify any new calls were not familiar with. On 2 occasions we were treated with Eagle sightings over the water!! We thoroughly enjoyed spending the day paddle boarding & kayaking and found it very easy to immediately relax.

Stayed May 24, 2024We had a truly special Memorial Day weekend at the Dreamy Cabin. We are a family group of grandparents, our children, and grandchildren (6-10). The house itself was perfect for us. The kids took over the bunkbed room and the downstairs playroom (well equipped!) became their Kids Hideout! Plenty of room for all 10 of us! The house itself is beautiful with super comfy beds and a kitchen with everything you could possibly need for cooking. We had all our meals at the house as we enjoy summer barbecues and cooking.. however there are several restaurants in town. As great as the house is, we weren't prepared for the beauty of the property... a short walk down a path through the woods you come to the lake which couldn't have been more perfect for us (especially the children, who spent hours each day boating, swimming, catching little critters, etc. etc.) Many boats, paddleboards, tubes, etc. are provided and all the equipment you could need is conveniently stored in the gazebo. What makes the lake special is it's sandy bottom and the fact that it is shallow enough for at least 50 feet that even young children can safely swim and play in it. Comfortable chairs are spread out in sunny and shady areas. We are hoping to come again next summer!!
