Everything was perfect, very nice house and super nice hosts

We were having a great time at Pia and Anders place. They are really kind people. Totally recommended for another time.

We had a fantastic time in this very, very nice house and will definitely come back! Our kids - 1 and 3 years old - loved it as well as this house had really everything we needed to relax and have a great holiday! Thanks Pia and Andres and see you again in one of the coming summers ;-)

Spijtig dat de vakantieperiode al verhuurd is, we zouden zo onmiddellijk terug gaan. We had a splendid holiday. A perfect place for 4 people. Very nice to have twe sleepingrooms IT was owr fist time in Sweden and we Will come back, in possible in the same accomodation. Theo and Kris Belgium

It's a wonderfull place if you like - the sea and the skerry coast - kayaking and swimming and the landscape of the surrounding nature reserves; the house offers everything you need and is a cosy place and the host-family is cordial and open-minded - even the cat Asta gives a warm welcome to you and enjoys guests;

Tack to Pia and Anders for a wonderful stay. They were very helpful in showing us the facilities we could use and around the cottage. They didn't intrude on our privacy and seem quite relaxed about being away from the property while we were there. The lovely views! What can we say.... it was quiet, peaceful and completely chilled out there. We were lucky in having some decent days just to stroll outside or sit on the decking, listening to the water lapping and the birds signing. It's just what we needed as a family. We are planning another road trip holiday in Sweden and would like to stay here again while passing thru!

Before starting my review: the actual vacation was in September 2012 but this website does not allow to go back that far (it is March 2015). So why this late review? Because I meant to do it earlier but forgot about. Every once in a while it comes creeping back into my head. And the reason why is pretty simple: because our vacation was just amazing! Since my original text exceeded the 2500 character limit, here's just a summary in a Pro/Con list: Pro: - Nice location, super close to ocean - Kayaking on the ocean (hell yea!), Kayaks can be rented - Bikes can be rented on site as well - Sauna is attached (cooling of in ocean is a must!) - Apartment is cute with country style atmosphere (Charcoal grill included!) - Holgersson (they were just super friendly and we felt very, very welcomed. If we had questions or issues they were nearby and quick to help!) - It's a good area to go hiking (with a short drive) - Running or short hikes can be done in walking distance - Going out: tons of restaurants in karskrona and surrounding cities. Cons: - Nothing really, only that there is an industrial park close to the apartment (2km maybe), but didn't bother much. So to get out into the nature, we had a short drive. Can we recommend? 100%! Would we come again? Sure! It was great! Tips? We booked off the season (End of September) so the weather was changing quite a bit, not a problem for us and if you're prepared but some people might don't like it that windy. So thanks again, it was wonderful! :)

We have spent a great week in Verkö. The cottage is very cozy and has a good equipment. We did not miss anything. Family Holgersson is very friendly and accommodating. The house is clean and the beds are comfortable. With a relatively short distance from Verkö you can explore the entire south coast. The south east coast and the island Öland are not far away. Also Karlskrona and the surrounding area offers a lot of variety. We can highly recommend the guest house- not just for summer.
