Drake's Cove - Waterfront Oasis

So I rented this property for 4 days for my wife's 60th birthday. We live in this area but our house is too small for all the visitors that came in from out of state. The property is wonderful and the host was very accommodating to questions. Its a lovely home in a safe and clean community.

It was amazing!!!! The host went over and beyond with this property!!

This house was large enough to easily fit two families with four kids and a dog. Very clean and spacious with TV's in every bedroom. Everyone enjoyed the access to a pool and playground and the arcade game was a big hit with both the children and adults. Also, the back yard and deck had a great view of the inlet.

Beautiful space for our family of six! Very clean, fully stocked. Host was very easy to reach, even checked on us during a storm and power outage that happened during our stay. Will absolutely stay here again!

This property was everything advertised and more. We slept wonderfully and enjoyed every moment. The house itself helped to foster family enjoyment and connection. I would not hesitate to stay here again, and would be eager to do so! Thank you very much!

Wonderful host, great house!

The home was very nice and clean and exactly as advertised. The kitchen was very nice and the owners thought of everything. All cabinets and drawers were labeled making it very easy to locate anything we were looking for. We really enjoyed our stay and it was very clear to us that the host has gone above and beyond to make sure anyones stay is worry free.

Host was very thoughtful leaving snacks and soaps we could use until getting to the store. We utilized trips to the indoor pool, staff there was very nice and accommodating for our 2 boys! Place was very clean with plenty of room. The downstairs bath tub would not hold water and the TV in the bunkbed would not work, I'm sure those will be easy fixes for our next stay.

House was perfect - location, cleanliness, comfort, layout, super host and lovely view. Highly recommend!

Place was great, would have given 5 stars across the board had it not been for a cockroach in the kitchen. We only saw the one the first day and I guess it can be a common thing in the south, it's the first one I had ever seen so I was I but worried. But we never saw another and place was great.

The house was perfect for our family and friends. Plenty of space, well stocked kitchen, games, and a beautiful view from the back porch. The host was great!

Although there was an issue getting in the front door, the host was super-responsive and helped us get in quickly m the house was clean, comfortable, and had lots of great activities to do right there in the home. I would definitely stay there again!

Amazing stay at Drake's Cove. The house was very cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. Lights and drawers were labeled throughout the house making it very easy to know how to operate and where things were. The kitchen was very welll stocked and we were able to cook several meals. The game area was well stocked, cute, and fun! The outdoor spaces had tables and chairs and we were able to watch the sun come up and enjoy the warm fresh air. The community was quiet, great signage, and the staff were welcoming and helfpul. The owner was kind, attentive, and available during our stay. Of note for anyone with ADA needs. There are steps leading into the home and you have to use stairs to access the main living area. The lower level was accomodating with bedrooms and had a bathroom with a higher toilet and a walk in shower with about a 6 step. The upstairs bedroom was accessible, the bathroom toilet was high but unable to use the tub/shower. Will definitely put this house on our list to stay again!

We had a wonderful stay. The deactivated golf course just down the road is the perfect walk to get in your 10,000 steps.

We liked the layout and the good communication from the owner. One thing my family would have liked is to have full access on Hulu-not a huge deal but it would have been a nice thing to have. Also cleaning products for the eating surface. Everything else was great!

Had a wonderful stay at Drakes Cove. Jacquie was very responsive and helpful in the pre-booking communication and throughout our stay. The house was in pristine condition and in addition to having everything we needed, Jacquie was kind enough to also provide snacks and much needed coffee! We were also grateful everything was labeled - we had a 1 year old with us, and it was super helpful to know what was in each kitchen cabinet, and it was all so organized! It was such a nice perk in addition to a wonderful stay.

We booked this location for a family reunion, and it couldn’t have worked out better. The space was spacious, clean, and very well-equipped for a group – plenty of seating, beds, and shared areas for everyone to gather and enjoy time together. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare big meals, and the outdoor area was a great bonus for relaxing and catching up.The host was communicative, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was also convenient, with easy access to local shops and attractions, which made planning activities simple.Everyone in our group was impressed, and we’d gladly stay here again. Highly recommend for families or groups looking for a comfortable and memorable place to stay!

I had this house reserved for a team that had to work out of town for the week. They loved the area, and the house provided them with plenty of space to relax after work.

Enjoyed our time at Drakes Cove. First part of our stay was during a tropical storm, but it was very relaxing nonetheless. My son took his boat and thoroughly enjoyed having it docked right there in the back yard all week. The house was immaculate. I really appreciated that. Will definitely stay again.
