With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.



Getting Around:

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.



Other Things to Note:

Luggage storage offered Monday- Friday at our main office from 8:30am-5pm. On weekends we recommend utilizing Bounce Luggage storage. Please inquire once booking is complete for the address!

    Nice place to stay for 1 or 2 people. It is tucked away from the road and very quiet. Close enough to walk to King Street with food and drink options along the way. Neighborhood was nice and safe. I would stay here again.

    Crescent Moon looks small from the outside but was quite roomy inside. The kitchen area and bathroom were nicely done. The bed was comfy. I was there alone with my dog and it was perfect. Parking is a nice bonus but it was tight to navigate with a Jeep Wrangler. Three blocks from Upper King but a bit of a hike to historic area if you are going back and forth but that’s why there is Uber. Great place. Would go back. Highly recommended.

    Clean, quiet, nice location - close to Bad Bunnies coffee shop which is fabulous! Owner, Rick was super friendly and kind. There is also a great burrito place and bagel place a few blocks away. Within walking distance to King Street etc.

    Such a perfect place to stay when visiting our daughter at College. Loved parking right at the front door and walking over to King Street and anywhere else we needed to go.Very clean, and private. Would stay here again anytime we are in CHS

    The property is located in a great location just off King St and close to bars, restaurants, and shops. The place is cozy and great for a couple looking to explore Charleston. Should we find ourselves again in Charleston, we'll definitely consider staying here again!

    We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at The Crescent Moon, my wife and I were in town to visit our son who lives in Charleston. The rental is as advertised and we would stay here again. The Pro's are- great location with off street parking, pleasant and quiet space, strong AC and fan, responsive owners, nice & safe neighborhood, solid value. The Cons' are- not a lot of natural light and a fairly strong musty odor. A great alternative to and far more interesting then a hotel...

    Property suited wife's/my interests well: far enough away from King St to be quiet and not in the middle of everything. Great place to sleep and stow your stuff and explore Charleston. Full disclosure: wife and I are active and we walked pretty much everywhere - south to the city proper and market and north to breweries. However, Uber/Lyft/bike taxis are all over the place.Only real quibble was the AC. We stayed late February but it still reached 70-75 during the day. When we returned to the room at day's end it was stuffy, even with shades pulled shut. We had to crack door for a while to cool it down. This may/may not have been operator error - unsure. Otherwise, awesome stay.

    My husband and I took a long weekend trip to Charleston from Boston and the Crescent Moon was perfect! We were walking distance to local coffee shops and amazing dinner around the corner (Southend - wow!). We walked home from King Street some nights and other days took Lime bikes that were nearby. Great quiet location, safe, convenient, clean and comfy. We'd go back.

    We really enjoyed this secluded quiet little pink house. We also brought our bicycles and it was a perfect location to commute on your bikes around the city and to really see Charleston and its uniqueness that it brings! Perfect spot for a couple.

    First time visiting Charleston and it was a perfect location for me. I enjoyed spending the day sightseeing in the historic area but loved coming back to the quaint and quiet neighborhood of the cozy cottage! Restaurants and coffee shops were wonderful and felt more local. Great walking area or a 2 mile jog to the battery area and walk back. Loved having a kitchen too!
