The space was great! It was beautifully decorated for a rental home. The hot tub wasn’t quite hot though. Would definitely stay here again!

This property was beautiful and clean. The hot tub was great too! The only downfall was how to work the tv and heater. Having instructions would have been very helpful since the communication with the host was poor. Overall, we would stay again for sure.

The cottage had very high quality finishings and many extra amenities. Although it is very near the main drag in Long Beach, it was extremely quiet (even on New Year's Eve). The linens, towels, bathrobes, and extra touches made this feel more like a 5 star hotel. We did not have time to use the fire pit but it was all set up for us to enjoy.

LOVED this place. Highly recommend this place to everyone. Super dog friendly & great location. Will DEFINITELY be back.

This property was awesome! It is such a nice house that was beautifully decorated! It really had everything we needed and more! It had all the hotel things you might need, such as shampoo, coffee, snacks, hairdryer, etc. I loved that they provided a wagon and chairs to bring to the beach. The water hose outside was perfect for cleaning off the sand too with hot and cold water. The location was perfect for walking to the beach or through town. Can't say enough about this place! We will be back for sure!!

Very comfortable house. Updated decor. Everything you need for your getaway from movies to board games to dog leashes. Walkable to everything and quiet considering the corner location. The only negative was the front step was a little difficult to navigate when holding your things and the screen door. Almost fell a few times and my son did fall. Also the water temperature in the shower cycles through warm to cold and doesn’t stay put. Other than that it’s a lovely place. Long Beach is beautiful and we’d definitely return. Thanks

Very cute, modern and comfortable home. My only complaint was hot tub tended to lose heat when in use. Aside from that I would definitely stay there again. It was very clean and we loved all the amenities it had to offer, and the fully fenced yard was a favorite of my dog. I initially found the location slightly odd but it was surprisingly quiet and convenient.

This cute little modern dog-friendly cottage is right near the main drag in Long Beach, so it is very close to food options and the actual beach access just minutes away. The fenced yard is clutch for having a doggy with you, and the fire pit and hot tub were excellent sources of fun! The jack n jill bathroom took a bit of getting used to, as there were 5 of us, but it was spacious and well stocked with toiletries, which was a great touch. Beds were like fluffy clouds, and the kitchen was well kitted out, for sure.Only thing I will gently suggest is perhaps another tall chair or two for the big island for those of us who like communal meals where we can sit down together? Our 5th person was standing or on had to move to the sofa, which isn't ideal if you are scared of spilling food or what have you. Also, another chair for the outdoor table wouldn't go amiss. Apparently the pull out wasn't very comfy (to be fair, are they ever?), but just moving pillows and sleeping on the sofa proper worked better for our 5th guest and he found that very comfortable. To summarize, it is an AWESOME choice for 2 couples with a dog or two ... and perhaps a small child who wouldn't mind sleeping on the pull out. Definitely recommend, would definitely stay again. Amazing place!

Our host was very attentive to detail, the cottage was fully stocked with towels, sundries, kitchen gear, even spices. We have truly enjoyed our time at Slow M’Ocean cottage.

Great location, walking distance from town and close access to beach. Very clean property with great amenities, including outdoor space! Host awesome at taking care of needs, very responsive with communication. Would stay here again.

Amazing home, location and attention to details!

Such a great Thanksgiving we had in Long Beach. The house was perfect for our family. Perfect location, perfect for my dogs being fully fenced. We will definitely be back.

Excellent Location - Super stocked - everything you need is here. Place was super cute and clean. Backyard was fenced and perfect for our two little girls (Shih Tzu's). Had an issue getting the check-in information at first - could have been VRBO - when I reached out a couple days before our trip (to the host) I did hear back quickly.

This place was stocked with everything you would need while staying at the beach. The house had snacks, a full array of toiletries, robes, beach towels and chairs, long boards, bikes, and even treats, leashes and toys for the dogs. The large fenced yard was perfect for our pups and had a great hot tub. Perfect house for 2 couples that is close to all the activities you want to enjoy at Long Beach.

Wonderful and clean property. So convenient to shops and restaurants. The hot tub was an extra added bonus!

Amazing location in the heart of Long Beach. Everything you need is within walking distance. Checking in was super simple and easy. Right when you walk in you get a cozy feeling. All of the amenities provided right down to the toothbrushes in to the bathroom were amazing. There were a couple minor mentions to the owner, who responded very quickly. The backyard was perfect for 3 kids to run around and play when we weren't out seeing the town. I would highly recommend this place to anybody who is interested. Beware, you're in the heart of town and the traffic can be heard in the rental with the occasional extra loud car. Make sure you try to street Taco's across the street at the Taco Shack. All in all, this place would great and would book again. Thank you

Beautifully appointed, immaculate and great location!

House was clean and welcoming. The location was great for the beach and downtown. The hot tub was not the best. It had an odd odor and was slightly cloudy. Also the front storm door is so out of alignment there is NO WAY we could latch it completely. I messaged the person in the book at the house and let them know about the hot tub and door but never heard anything back. We also unfortunately had to leave a day early due to a family emergency so I told them that we had to leave and we cleaned the house before we left as we always do. I was sure to let them know it would be unoccupied for our last night we paid for. No response.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect! If I had one thing I would change it would be an earlier check in time. Checking it at 4:00 was a little inconvenient for us but that was it. Other than that the stay was perfect. The house is adorable and we had a blast.

This house was perfect for our family getaway to Long Beach. It was a short walk to the beach and town. Plus go carts were right across the street! The house was clean and well stocked with any toiletries that we needed.

All 3 of us that stayed, all said we wanted to take the beds with us..lol. So incredibly comfortable! Everything was very clean. And the layout was so cute. The fenced yard was a big plus as we had 2 dogs with us. So close to everything. Would definatly stay here again.

Great new property for our last minute get away.One of the best stocked homes I’ve rented. The owner’s “take what you need leave what you don’t” policy was a first and much appreciated since I forgot toothpaste ;)Spacious backyard for the doggies, hot tub for the family and a fire pit !!! (Note that part is byo-wood).Would stay again

The location was great and being able to request a late checkout which helped with my family, but there were some issues that came up which I brought up to the owners and never heard back (they have a rule about dog poop in the fenced yard, but I came across multiple dog poop piles next to the shed which caused my dog to even sniff it out. This has been there for a while because it was a whitish color which could make other dogs sick. The kitchen had multiple expired ingredients that were as old as two YEARS old and sand swept under all of the carpets along with dirt and dust all under the furniture). Old dog poop along with expired cooking ingredients can be dangerous to animals in addition to people and these are part of their rules but left for new people coming in.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The house is perfect for a couple or small group. It’s right in town and close to the beach. Everything was clean and new and check in was a breeze. We would stay here again.

Great little house, great for kids- with go carts and horse rides on the same street that leads to the beach. Awesome for dogs with secure and clean fenced yard. Daughter and hubs and I loved the hot tub. Place is clean and modern. Nice touch with the 'all you need' buffet of sample size toiletries. One complaint, the hot tub cover weighs a TON so even my hubs and I together struggled to get the cover back on after each use to keep the water hot, a lighter weight cover would make it easier and more enjoyable to use. Also there's a vacant lot next to the house which a trailer had parked on and was in line of sight with the hot tub so it affected the privacy we felt during one use. The trailer moved after 24 hours. Overall great stay and location if you Like Long Beach!

This place is great! I am a short term rental owner myself, and have very similar approach. Which is to provide top of the line, clean beautiful, comfortable accommodations that make guests feel like they couldn’t have booked a better place. I loved being able to have a safe fenced back yard for my pups. They provide absolutely everything. Listing is as advertised! 10/10 will stay again!

The Slow M'Ocean Cottage is a perfect place to get away for the weekend or longer. Located a five-minute walk to both the downtown core of Long Beach and the beach itself, the Cottage is the ideal location for easy access to entertainment and food options. The Cottage is lovingly well-maintained and very well appointed, and our family and dogs had a great relaxing and enjoying all that Long Beach had to offer. Communications with the owner were prompt and professional, and we will definitely return for another stay!

Beautiful tasteful clean house everything looked brand new, great yard,clean hot tub, clean barbecue, and a fire pit that we intended on using but didn’t find time. The decorating in this house is so gorgeous, beds were super comfortable. Plenty of space for more than just my husband and I. Every detail was covered From the kitchen being very well stocked with dishes and utensils, pot pans, and bowls to the bathroom having a little bit of everything that you probably forgot when you were packing. Super easy checkout process just clean up the house as you saw it. Start the dishwasher start the washer. Also very close to the beach, totally walkable right in the heart of town food options on every corner. I would absolutely stay again and have already told many friends about it!

Have stayed here previously and will stay here in the future. A perfect place for a kid-free vacation.

This cottage was the perfect fit for my little family! We loved that it came with so many amenities and was kid and pet friendly! We go on vacation every summer to the beach and the location of the cottage was perfect for us. There was just the right amount of privacy but still in the center of all the fun. We accidentally broke a shovel but purchased a similar replacement. Having the warm water hose allowed us to prevent sand coming in to the home which was great! My kids loved all the things that were available to them in the home, and that food was accessible right outside the door. They stated that this has been by far their favorite stay! The only minor complaint/negative was that the bed in the bedroom near the fridge was not clean. The bedding appears to have blood like stains/ and there was a lot of pet hair between the sheet. I just didn't sleep in this bed so it wasnt that big of a deal. (No i didn't notify the owner as the positives far proceeded this) My family definitely wants to stay here again if we weren't too much! 🙂🙃
