We have stayed at many units rented through VRBO. We knew there were some imperfections going in, but this home was perfect for what we needed (something with more to offer than a hotel room). The owner was phenomenal in his communications and I look forward to working with him in the future.
Clean, accommodating, and close to town!
The neighborhood is questionable. The flooring was uneven and unsafe for grandma. There was broken glass all outside the back door. The carpet was not suitable to let the kids crawl around. We had to find a hotel to accommodate our family and our car full of groceries that we had purchased on the way to the rental. I’ve messaged the owner multiple times to request a partial refund and have not heard anything back. Very disappointed with this rental experience.
My family and I stayed here for five days. The house was clean and very comfortable. The process to book the house was easy, and I was able to ask questions of the owner any time. I would definitely stay here again.
the period that we have been in your holiday has become unforgettable for us, partly. because your house was clean, warm and cozy! the ten of us have been in your house, which was possible, we recommend this house to others
It was a nice and clean location for our needs.
The house was perfect size for our family. The kitchen was equipped well enough to prepare meals.
would stay there again
We stayed for a few days to attend a concert. The house was updated and had nice sized bedrooms and bathrooms. I loved all of the tech gadgets in the house like the one-touch lamps and clocks with the outlets. The house was clean. I'm a fellow property owner, so it met my expectations. The house is about a 5-minute drive to downtown, which was nice. The area seems to be on the rougher side of Grand Rapids. My family and I were a tad nervous, staying here. I would have given it a five if it wasn't for the neighborhood.
This is a very clean and recently updated older home with two full baths, full kitchen and laundry. The owner called me the day of check-in to touch base and give key code instructions (which I also received via VRBO). Everything was as shown in the photos. There are three queen beds total in the two upstairs bedrooms and a full/twin combo bunk in the main floor bedroom. Eight of us slept comfortably in the beds, plus there's room on the couches. We also noticed an airbed in one of the closets. We were there on a beautiful Friday night in August. The neighbors were a bit noisy outside in the evening, but quieted down around 10:30 or so, so it really wasn't an issue. We had fun with the tilted floors, which is the only thing that wasn't upgraded in the makeover. No big deal, but it was fun to roll a ball across the floor! All-in-all this was a good find, and we would stay there again. I recommend this rental!
