Dolly Lodge - Private 2.5 Acres /Mid-Century Architecture

The perfect mountain getaway! This home was lovely and enjoyed by everyone. Plenty of room for our family to spread out but also lots of common spaces to share time together. Everything was very comfortable and clean. It was a very short drive to downtown Highlands with fun shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Unique property, close to town, perfect for our family

We spent New Year's in Highlands with one other couple and our dog. The house was delightful and very convenient to downtown Highlands. It is better than the photos. We enjoyed the comfy great room for relaxing and playing games, and the fireplace was wonderful. The kitchen is new and modern. We found the bed extremely comfortable and slept late every morning! The hot tub was also a treat! We would definitely rent this house again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dolly Lodge for four nights over Christmas. A beautiful, comfortable, well-furnished home with an incredible kitchen. The fireplace was a wonderful addition for our stay. Phil was a great host and readily available to answer questions. We would love to return! Highly recommend, any time of year.

Our family travels to Highlands each fall and we rent homes every time we come to town. This property was certainly one of our favorites. We stayed over the week of Thanksgiving. Dolly Lodge is a large beautiful upscale mountain home that is well appointed and beautifully decorated. My family included small children and parents (6 people) that stayed comfortably as the home has 3 bedrooms (two primary rooms) and a separate room two beds) all on the main floor which was nice because most other properties are two story which makes it hard with tiny children. The dual wood burning fireplaces, cozy family room, outdoor hot tub and fire pit, and the large designer kitchen were our favorite features of this stunning home. This rental is very clean and the owner communicates promptly and the home has everything you could possibly need. The property is a very close drive to town, although it is located up a very winding road that takes a bit of driving to get up and down. We got lost a few times but quickly managed to get the hang of the drive as we made multiple trips to town each day as well as trips to Franklin, Clayton, and Dillard. We would 100% rent this property again and I highly recommend it. Thank you to the property owners for sharing this gem with us!

We had a wonderful stay at Dolly Lodge. Phil is an amazing host who was responsive to all inquiries. The house is exactly as advertised. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. Very quiet. Beautiful property. We really enjoyed our stay. We plan to return, and highly recommend.

Beautiful property with everything you could need. Are too small dogs love the large yard and the surrounding area to walk in. We were there for two weeks and one of the weeks we had a fair amount of rain, but the house is perfectly situated to still enjoy your stay. It’s a quiet oasis surrounded by trees, which is very close to town but far enough away to relax and rejuvenate.
