Dog Friendly Historic Home by Forsyth w/ Private Courtyard by Lucky Savannah

Beautiful home, clean and well maintained. There were absolutely no issues with anything. We would definitely stay here again!The ladies in the Lucky Savannah office were knowledgeable and answered all our questions.

The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed having morning coffee in the cozy courtyard. From the house we walked to dinner, shops, and some of Savannah's most well known historical sites. Parking in the historic district is a challenge; the dedicated parking space in the back of the property was a plus. I highly recommend this property.

Great location, very comfortable. We found it to be walkable to most of the things you'd want to see and do. We have kids so factor that in to these times... Roughly 10 minutes to Forsyth, 15-20 minute walk to a ton of restaurants (Oglethorpe or Broughton), too far to walk to Plant District.

Easy check in, parking was no problem, great places to walk the dog… nice kitchen. Comfortable bedrooms… they’re upstairs which wasn’t a problem for us. Great location

We picked The Whippet House due to its close proximity to family in the area and allowed our dog to come with us. It was everything we wanted. We appreciated all the pots and pans etc in the kitchen. The house was clean and no dog smells. Easy to walk to Forsyth Park.

Great property and location

Place itself was immaculate. Laundry was great. Awesome location just blocks from Forsyth Park, and easily walkable to riverfront and all of the historic parts of Savannah. Definitely would choose the Whippet House again

The Lucky team that manages the property made check-in and checking out easy any accessible.The property was nice and clean. Had plenty of linens. The kitchen was fully stocked for those who want to cook. It was in the perfect location…Savannah is beautiful, there’s historical parks , restaurants and the riverwalk ..That you’re able to walk to.Everything was nice!

Came to Savannah for a long weekend, the Whippet House was as advertised and more!The location is very walkable to River Street, the Historic District, and of course Forsyth Park.Would stay again!

The property was great for two couples enjoying Savannah for the weekend. The location was convenient and we enjoyed sitting out on the back patio once it finally cooled off.

Stayed with two friends as a girls weekend, we loved the house and would stay again. Very clean and comfortable, well appointed kitchen, close enough to historic district that we walked everywhere, and we loved walking through Forsyth Park each day. Highly recommend.

This home was spacious, beautifully furnished and in the perfect location. We will definitely stay again.

My husband and I were visiting Savannah with his family from the UK. We arrived late on our first night, and there was no bedding for the fold out. The property manager said the cleaner must have forgotten it so she agreed to bring it to us but it took an hour. Then we found a cockroach on a wall in one of the upstairs bedrooms. It's the south, so I apologized and they all went to bed a bit freaked out while my husband and I sat up waiting for our bedding. My mother in law slept with the light on to keep roaches away. We toured Savannah the next day - beautiful city. We came back that evening and there were two VERY LARGE palmetto bugs in the kitchen. We were planning to sit on the patio for tea but everyone was too freaked out to sit outside where there were more roaches. We found ANOTHER roach upstairs before bed that night. I called the company and asked if they had any other bnb's we could swap to, but there was nothing clean and ready. No one slept well at all, obviously after 4 roach discoveries total. On our last morning, my mother in law found yet another roach in her shower, and opted to skip it and wait til we got back home to NC to shower. Check out is 11:00 am, but when we returned from breakfast around 10:30, the house had been cleaned already, and my mother in law's charger had been removed from the property. We had to call again and waited for the cleaner to bring it back. I travel a ton, and have never had to call about anything, much less call 3 times.

Our group if five older women travel several times yearly and enjoy using Vrbo so we can all stay together and enjoy our time together. This was a great location, house was perfect and absolutely loved Savannah.

We stayed in Savannah for St. Patrick’s Day weekend. This beautiful home was conveniently located to all venues and close to Forsyth Park which was beautiful. I took my dog and had great green space to walk her several times a day. The house is nicely decorated, everything you need is there and beds are comfortable. We’ll definitely be back. Great host, who communicates well.

Our visit to Savannah was terrific due to our outstanding accommodations at the Whippet House. The house is quiet, clean, and beautiful, and the artwork is phenomenal. The home is located close to public transportation, so we did not do much driving once we arrived. The kitchen and bathrooms are well appointed, and we appreciated having laundry facilities and off-street parking. We highly recommend staying when visiting beautiful Savannah!

I looked at several properties before booking this one. The property was nice. Nice historic feel with modern amenities. It was perfect location to walk around the historic district. It was also great having the parking space in the back. We rented a mid size car and it fit perfectly. It would be tricky with a bigger vehicle. Would definitely stay at this rental again.

Stayed here three nights. All areas very clean. Tastefully decorated. A short 5 minute walk to Forsyth Park. About 25 minute walk to the Riverfront. Kitchen and bathrooms well stocked. Comfortable bed. Strong showers. SNAFU on check in with door code. This was rectified more or less quickly but after a stressful 6 hour drive, it took the J out of the Joy for our arrival in Savannah.
