I’ve stayed here twice, the house is clean and very nicely located

What a wonderful home to spend the weekend in! Our family stayed there for a basketball tournament so we were busy most of the time, but the house was a welcome reprieve during the busy days. It is beautiful, welcoming, and full of character. Plenty of space for all seven of us. Don & Nicole were easy to get in touch with and checked on us throughout our visit. 10 stars would recommend!!

The house said three rooms sleeps 8 but had two rooms each with a queen and smaller room looked like a library with a little couch. We had to have people sleep on the floor. And in living room a futon. Parking was horrible to find.

Perfect location for all that we wanted to do during our visit. Check in process was a breeze. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby within walking distance.

Very cute house, easy street parking. Neighborhood is cute, wishing tree next door, bakery across the street, etc. We were vending at the convention center so we didn't have time to explore unfortunately. Easy commute to and from the convention center. Master bedroom is the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. Huge closet. Lots of great books and board games.The one bathtub/shower isn't the most convenient, but we made it work.Living room could use more seating. There were 5 of us, but really only seating for 4.Spacious kitchen with tons of dishes, pots, pans, etc.The AC was fantastic downstairs, unfortunately 2 of the bedrooms were upstairs and it was miserably hot. (itwas 90 outside)We would stay again when it is cooler outside!

We were visiting our daughter who lives just across the street so the location was perfect! The house has everything you need in a home away from home!

We stayed for two full weeks at this house. It was exactly as advertised...clean, charming, and in a wonderful location. The host was quick to respond to questions or needs. We loved our stay and enjoyed the neighborhood a great deal. I will happily stay at this home again.

This was a very good experience. Boise had everything we needed plus more. I would truly recommend to stay here it was very close to the restaurants with many varieties of choices.

My husband and I come to PDX (almost) every Memorial Day weekend from Seattle to brewery hop. This year we brought 3 friends along, so we wanted a house for all of us. We got into town a little early and were still able to get into the property and unload our things before we headed out for the day. There is no designated parking, but there was lots of street parking available a block away. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. They even had fans available which was great, because it is a little warm on the top floor. Dressers and closets available for things.The downstairs room didnt feel like a room, because it didn't actually have a bed, it had a couch/chaise. Luckily, there were sheets and bedding available to make it a functional room. My friend said it was very comfortable, so it worked. We didn't cook or eat at the property, but the kitchen was well appointed with anything you would need. We all enjoyed the back patio and the eat in kitchen (where we sat and played cards). If we come as a group again, we will definitely stay here! It was clean, comfortable & charming!

My husband and I came to Portland to visit our son. The house was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The neighborhood was great! Good restaurants, grocery store, yoga studio and fantastic bakery right across the street! A very fun time.

The house was just as described—and in a terrific location where you can walk to terrific food places, including a fabulous bakery across the street. The kitchen is incredibly well supplied with everything you will need. And we never had trouble finding street parking right in front of the house. Since my daughter has moved to Portland, we plan to rent again! Thank you!

Great location

This is house is so nice. I loved the décor, the books, the bed, the neighborhood. It should be noted the parking on the street in front of this home is 2 hours only 24 hours a day. When we first arrived on a Tuesday around 4PM we had to park three blocks away. The second time we had to park 1 block away mid day. Rest of time we decided to take Ubers. Maybe not great for some people. I think this is a house that at one time was easy to find parking, but now with so many great places close by it's difficult. Once you get used to that, it's perfect.

The house was perfect for our gilsgetaway weekend. Great location and space. Lots of food options nearby. We had a great stay.

The house was great, comfortable and clean. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops! No parking though but there is street parking available during certain time of day/night.

Family of four adults fit perfectly in the space. A fully set up, comfortable home with needed amenities provided. Wonderful location on N Williams next to a wishing tree house with a pop up artist selling their wares over the weekend. Thank you!

Don and Nicole’s house could not be in a better location! There were a handful of restaurants, and an AMAZING patisserie, within steps of this welcoming home. toiletries, and (to our surprise) an expansive selection of books for guests to read during their stay. Although we did not eat in, the kitchen had everything one would need to make a gourmet meal for a large group.

My girlfriends and I have been doing a present exchange for about 25 years and the house was a perfect spot for it this year. We walked to dinner, visited the popup shop next door and had a wonderful time. Comfortable beds and house. Thank you!

My wife and her friends had a wonderful time staying overnight at your house. They went to the Mississippi Studios to see a show. The only complaint was lack of parking near the house. They had to park nearly 2 blocks away because there were no spots close by. That is minor compared to the house itself. They loved it!!!

North central Portland location for close access to airport. Functional and well thought out home layout. Great for small family.

Nice spot for a wedding weekend.

Stayed here while traveling for a work conference, and it was so so nice to return to an actual home after a long day. Very comfortable space and beds, nice to have the half bath available, fully outfitted kitchen. Overall, delighted with our stay!

The house is cute and cozy, the neighborhood is excellent with an amazing bakery across the street and tons of other great food options around. Just minutes to Mississippi and lots of good shops as well as Moda Center. Perfect location for a super fun weekend.

We loved the busy location and the house in general. Needs a railing at the top of the second story stair case.

Home is conveniently located to many cute shops and great restaurants and coffee shops. Beds are very stiff, more than firm, in the upper bedrooms. Clean for the most part, but the carpet is old and worn on stairway and in home Amazing library, with super interesting book selection, and the art and set up of the house is very artistic and eclectic. The couch that can be a bed in this room was very comfortable. Wifi is not super strong connection, 7 remotes for TV and entertainment speakers, etc. A book for the house with introductions, instructions, information on house and area would be a good, and necessary addition. Owner was open to suggestions, and when I was able to contact him, available and helpful. I requested a late check out, sort of last minute, and he was very open to trying to make it happen. But contact phone number/info was difficult, and contact thru VRBO was time consuming and inefficient.

Stayed at the house with two other coworkers while we were in town for a conference. The house was in great shape, clean, had everything we needed and was walking distance to everything. Would absolutly stay again!

It was nice to be in a local community of Portland - within walking distance there were some shops, breweries, coffee shops, and street parking. It was a relatively quiet neighborhood and less than 10 minutes to drive to all that downtown Portland has to offer.

Lots of places within walking distance. Easy to find street parking. Nice central location.

Close to concert and covienent location

This is a great little house in a great location in Portland. We stayed in a super heat wave in July, with our two kids, and were comfortable throughout and well looked-after by Don who set up fans to help keep us cool (there is AC but it was 102 degrees outside, thus warm on the second floor). There is no driveway or dedicated parking spot, however there is ample street parking around the block and it was not stressful to park. We were able to work remotely from the house easily, the wifi was solid. We cooked for the kids many nights, the kitchen is well-supplied. Overall it was just nice and homey and comfy. Location: you really can't beat it. Easy to get everywhere by car or bike and plenty of great places to eat within walking range, even on the same block. And Don will give plenty of great recommendations! We really enjoyed Portland and were lucky to have chosen this lovely spot and host.
