Delana Suite | New Prime Downtown Spot!

The space was clean and modern with good basic amenities in a good location. From that aspect I would give it 5 stars. However, it is a complex and the walls are paper thin. A family with children stayed next door and the kids were loud much of the night (3am) and the lite sleepers in our group had a hard time. The road noise is a bit loud as well. The management group was responsive, but there were limitations to what could be done. Just noting for those that are looking for a quiet spot.

Loved our stay at the Delana Suite, had everything we needed. The place was very clean and cozy and decorated so cute. It was in a great location with restaurants and coffee shop blocks away. Close walk to King Street for shopping. Had a little trouble with the keypad but called the office and had this rectified immediately. Would definitely stay here again!

The location could not have worked out better. The property management was super helpful and easy to communicate with. We had two couples for a birthday weekend and would highly recommend it. Can't wait to come back!

This was our first visit to Charleston and had no clue about where the best area to stay was for the best experience. Turns out we made an incredible choice. The place was perfect for our two teenagers, my wife and me. The property was clean and well appointed. We leaked nothing during our for night stay. My son loved the loft. Frankly that was our only issue ... Both kids wanted the loft! The location was ideal for our excursions whether that was King Street, College of Charleston or Folly Beach - each was very easy to get to from the Delana Suite. We loved the area, we will be back and will absolutely stay here again.

Great location, parking was easy and available. Decor was super cute although the furniture was a little uncomfortable. We had 4 adults and a teenager, the space was cozy at times. The loft was a decent size, but access was a little tricky.

Great neighborhood, easy access to city. Could use a frying pan, and some basic spices so that we didn’t have to buy full spice containers to use for one or two days, and then have to pack. Would be a nice touch.Loft bed difficult to use in very hot weather, even with fan. May want to explain that in description for summer month stays.

This property was beautifully updated with all amenities and in a great location for walking to many restaurants that we enjoyed. Off-street parking was a plus! Great communication with the host and easy check-in. .The stairs made luggage handling somewhat difficult when we arrived and departed so I mention that only for those who may need to know. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return

Well maintained, cozy, cute unit. Good size for two adults and two teens. The teens liked the loft that was accessible by ladder. Bathrooms were clean and stocked with travel toiletries. Walking distance to King St.

It's in a nice neighborhood, easy walking distance to multiple good restaurants. Parking was no problem, plenty of space in rear. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen.

We traveled to Charleston for a work conference & added an extra night to enjoy the city.

My wife and two kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was super clean and cool on our arrival. There are some great food places within easy walking distance, and the River is a reasonable walk. The area felt incredibly safe, and the neighbors were quiet. My kids loved the loft, and having two full bathrooms was a bonus. Full kitchen and appliances made leftovers worth taking home. It was our first trip to Charleston and we absolutely loved it.

Beautiful apartment. Great location. Clean. Has everything you might need from the kitchen to personal care items. Great parking. Good lighting of the back half of the house. It might be helpful to have some additional lighting for the steps to the upper apartments.

Nice property.

We truly loved our time in this beautifully decorated and fun space! We had everything we needed to a long weekend and were able to walk to so many amazing spots. We appreciated the recommendations by the host. Would definitely stay again!

Great spot for our family of 4. Separate bedrooms for parents and kids and enough room to move around. Property itself was quiet and close enough to downtown without being in the mix. Parking was easy and always accessible. We didn’t utilize the loft but would be great for a larger party. Would stay at this property or with this company again.

Cute place, my son really enjoyed the idea of the loft all to himself! Friendly and responsive management. Would stay here again!

Great location easy to get to everything

So many plusses to this stay! The communication was fast and accurate. The unit itself is very well appointed. The decor is a fun retro/mid-century and super cute. The towels and linens were high quality and there were plenty per person, including a thoughtful black washcloth for keeping makeup marks off the nice white towels. They provided all the bathroom and kitchen basics, including a nice coffee setup (ground coffee, filters, and powder cream is all there with no stop at a store needed your first night). The neighborhood was highly walkable to local amenities, markets, restaurants, and the action along King Street. The neighborhood is very well kept, lots of pedestrian traffic, and we felt very safe. Parking was ample. Just one important thing to note. If you have ambulatory issues this may not be the best spot for you. There is a single set of steep steps going up to the entry of the unit (we had no problem with them at all). One of the bedrooms is a lofted space with a ladder that pulls out from the wall. It is quite a few rungs of climbing each way, so important to consider who may be able to handle that. We were a party of two friends, one per room, and we thought the space was perfect for us and had an excellent stay.
