Dana Point Dream Home with White Water Ocean View (Permit #STR14-0084)

The home is beautiful. The owner provided everything you would ever need. The location is within walking distance to Pacific Coast Highway. The view is amazing.

The house and location were lovely. The kitchen was well equipped as were the bedrooms and bathrooms. The views are amazing. Would love to stay here again. Only 2 things that are personal to use - beds were very firm. And maybe some more lamps in living/kitchen area so you don't have to use the overhead lights late at night. Overall amazing, would stay again if given the chance.

Communication was excellent. The pics in the profile don’t do the scenic view justice. Absolutely stunning! Steve was a tremendous host. House itself is central to the Warf and had everything we needed and then some.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The location was close to many places that we needed to be at for a wedding weekend. It does have lots of stairs but fortunately that wasn’t a problem for us. The view was the most amazing part about the stay… enjoyed the lovely front deck to soak it all in. Everything appeared clean and the home had been stocked as if someone was living there and we were their guests. From soap, shampoo, conditioner, curling iron, steamer, iron etc. I did find the only issue I had… which wasn’t the owners fault, is the leaving directions were not posted in the home and I forgot to review back to the listing.

We had a great stay -- loved the ocean views, and everyone in our party loved the house. The house itself was exceptionally clean. The only problems we had were the extremely spotty internet connection (ended up on cellular most of the time) and very inadequate heating (we were there in February) of the master suite on the lower level.

The host was helpful and excellent in communication. Wonderful view.

Host was very welcoming. He met us at the house to make sure we knew where everything was and how to use everything. We were in town for a wedding and he even had a clothes steamer. Lots of features in this home. Perfect location. Amazing view of the Pacific Ocean right from the from patio. Walking distance to Dana Point Harbor and great restaurants. Plenty of room for our family. New appliances. I can’t say enough about how perfect this home worked out for us.

Location was perfect and the view was breathtaking

This was our second time staying at Stephen's home in Dana Point. A group of friends and I were in town for the Ohana Music Festival. We absolutely love staying at this property! Its walkable to and from Doheny Beach and overlooks Doheny so you can hear the music from the balcony! The home is three stories so plenty of room with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. It had everything you needed for a fun and stress-free weekend. We had so much fun and hope to be back again. Thank you Stephen!

Was able to accommodate all seven of us comfortably. Great view!! Would not recommend if you have problems with stairs.

Our whole family has been coming to this home for a few years now. It couldn’t be in a better location, it’s far enough from the crowds yet 5 minutes to the beach. Very spacious, everyone has plenty of room. The owner is super friendly and available for any questions you may have. The view is amazing and the deck is huge for just relaxing. We’ll be back again next year!

Needs to be deep cleaned,and updated.The construction next door made it impossible to enjoy the deck!!The bbq is out dated,and the bathtub downstairs,didnt work,filled with dirty water.The dryer didnt work.

Our family of 10, including 4 granddaughters ages 4-8, enjoyed staying in this Dana Point home. The host responded to our communications in a timely manner and was present when my son and his family arrived. He provided relevant information about the house and was very friendly. The house is as described. The bedrooms on the middle floor permitted my son and daughter and their spouses to be on the same level as the 4 girls while we stayed on the lower level in the very large primary suite. The kitchen is well equipped. The location is great —near beaches, the harbor and within a reasonable distance to both Disneyland and San Diego. We had a great family vacation and I would highly recommend this home.

Booked this rental in December for a May trip. Unknown to us was that the home immediately next door was under renovation. Work crew showed up at 7AM on the first morning to set up scaffolding-- they were there the majority of the day. Second morning stucco demolition jackhammering started at 7:05AM. Finished for the day around 3:30PM. And so it continued except on Sunday. Could not sit outside and enjoy the cool mornings. Had to close the windows during the day to block some of the noise. We realize that this VRBO owner had no control over that but it SHOULD have been communicated to us on reservation or anytime during the next 5 months that it was a possibility. We made the best of it but it definitely changed our use of the home and our ability to relax and enjoy the spaces. NOTES on house accommodations. Lots of stairs. Great water pressure and amount of hot water for 8 adults. Tons of dishes, silverware and cups. Only cooked breakfast but there were other gadgets in the cabinets for meals-- but Needs new frying pans. Plenty of towels. Appreciated availability of old beach chairs. Plenty of hanging space. Wifi slow. Location great. Owner lives a few houses over and came to let us in and show us around which is nice but after a LONG day of travel just a key pad with an access code would have been totally acceptable.

Five siblings and their spouses stayed at this VRBO and it was our first VRBO. We loved our get together and the views were fabulous.

Front balcony view is just beautiful. House was clean and cozy. We had a great time despite the gloomy weather.

We had a wonderful cousins' reunion at Stephen's beautiful Dana Point home. The kitchen was well stocked, the views were lovely and this neighborhood is full of fun restaurants, surfing and nice walks!

We had a terrific stay in Dana Point. We are 2 couples who are cousins, and we take a trip together every winter. The house was just as described. Very roomy, bright and perfect for our visit. Stephen is a great host. We met us at the house, gave us a tour and instructions, was always available and could not have been nicer. He lives close by, and we chatted with him as he walked his dog. The is nothing about this house that we wouldn't recommend. It's a great area with a lot to do. Go and enjoy!

Spacious and well-equipped for families. 5 minute drive from Doheny State Beach.

Loved our stay at this property! Close to stores, restaurants and beaches. Loved the patio/deck. Plenty of room for big families or multiples. Steve was near by if we were to need anything, but we didn’t. Everything was as described and we had no issues. They are remodeling the house next door, so I was a little worried about the noise, but it was never an issue.we would definitely book this house again. Lovely!!

WOW. What a great spot . Stephen was a great host and super accommodating . Lots of space and EVERYTHING you need. Would recommend this to all. Thank you for having us.

A lovely property. There was construction next door that was loud but we still enjoyed the view. I do think the rugs all need a deep cleaning inside the house. Over all though, I recommend this place for a family gathering.

Home and location were amazing!!! Decor dated and extremely limited toilet paper only 2 rolls per bathroom for 11 people, mostly women/young lady, for 5 days. Really!!?

This condo is stunning. Stayed here with my family and, from the minute we arrived, we we blown away by the views and how nice everything was. This is one time that the condo was actually nicer than it looks in the pictures. The owner met us there and made sure we understood how everything worked. I am am impressed 👍

This home was very comfortable and well-stocked. The helpful owners really thought of everything a renter might wish for. The home was comfortable, clean, convenient and offers gorgeous ocean views. The home has three levels so comfort with going up and down stairs is important, but this was no problem for us. Overall we highly recommend and would rent this home again.
