Cypress Flats features a newly remodeled 2300sq ft home with all the amenities to make your vacation one to remember. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, bathroom, and a separate TV, the guest bedroom has a queen sized bed and a walk-in closet, the sleeping porch has five twin beds and a TV for playing DVDs, there is a large den and dining room area with another television. There is a separate building with a washer/dryer. There is covered parking in a large carport. Other amenities include a picnic table, inner tubes, and BBQ pit, There are two kayaks and two paddle boards that come with the property. Bring snorkel gear if you have it, the water is gin clear and there are tons of fish!

Some of the pros of staying are:Kids had a great time. Loved staying near the river where the kids had easy access to kayaking and paddle boards. They also loved having the ability to fish whenever they wanted. The cons were: The inability to have a fire at night in a fire pit, it was chilly at night. We also felt like we were being watched. There is a house that sits right next door and it would be impossible to have any privacy if they had been home or would come outside. We appreciate the fact that they rent it out so we can enjoy it. Not sure if we would ever right there again just because of location to our needs.

That about sums it up ! Very peaceful place to watch hummingbirds, or float in the river. My older married kids enjoyed kayaking and paddling boarding. Did a little fishing and a whole lot a sittin and enjoying the peace and quiet.

We had a wonderful time. The children enjoyed swimming in the river. We did some fishing. We saw plenty of wildlife. Very enjoyable trip and would recommend anybody to try this location.
