However, we did not have hot water for the first day, and they resolved it quickly. We could not enjoy the balconies at night because of cockroaches

Beds were comfortable and plenty of room for all of our clothes and kid’s gear. Very spacious, clean and comfortable! We will be staying here again soon!

There are four bedrooms, with the third floor bedroom able to accommodate several people. The location of the house is great and very quiet. The negatives were no iron, no crockpot and no beach towels. There were also limited kitchen accessories compared with other houses we’ve stayed at in Cinnamon Shore.

Our youngest daughter walked into Sandy Feet Retreat and proclaimed this home to be the best decorated and most comfortable. It was designed well and we appreciated the first floor kitchen. That said, this was by far the worst stocked kitchen. Thankfully we were close enough to home to get ziplocks, coffee, etc. We were a little more taken aback when we realized we had no salt or pepper for steaks. However, there was not a grill dedicated to the property (most likely because there is not a dedicated garage space). We could not quickly locate the community grills at neighboring town center in the dark of winter’s nights. The work around was a delicious repeat trip to Dylan’s for pizza night! Despite these quirky setbacks, we enjoyed the family time as always. Day and night, the beach and the beach house offered precious memories just the same!! Looking forward to the next Serene Staycation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for 4 nights in august, we had a wonderful time. The kitchen is well stocked although we didn’t cook much. The house has a blender and two coffee makers, a drip, and a Keurig. I couldn’t find that information online prior to going, so I wanted to share that with future guests. We had a little bit of an issue with the air conditioner keeping up in the master bedroom. It was much warmer in there than anywhere else in the house. The remainder of the house was nice and cool though. There is a second air conditioning thermostat for the top floor. My little boy enjoyed having the upstairs room with his own couch and TV and of course the video game to play. We also had a little issue with the master shower not draining properly, we didn’t call maintenance while we were there, but I’ll let them know when we checked out. There is no dresser or counter space in the king bedroom on the second floor and there are no lamps on the nightstands. I feel like this room could use both. Also, there is no closet in the queen bedroom on the first floor, although there is a hanging rack right outside the door in the in the hallway. It was nice to have the living area and kitchen on the first floor especially for my grandma. There were some beach towels for guests to use. The beds were comfortable and overall the house was very clean. Overall, we had a great time and we would stay in this house again.
