Stayed Feb 12, 2026Beautiful log cabin. Very responsive host. Super close to Terry Peak. Reduced rating since it was listed to sleep 16 people and only had beds for 14. We had to buy an air mattress for everyone to sleep.

Stayed Nov 7, 2025The place was great, cozy, great accomodarions. However, the hot tub was a headache the entire time and a few of the tvs didnt work well. Overall, we enjoyed our time.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025Our family of 15 were thrilled with this cabin. Great view from the deck! Truly an Executive Cabin with all necessary amenities - kitchen appliances, dishes, cookware, paper products, etc. There is a grocery store in deadwood where we purchased food as our drive from home was 8+ hours. The hot tub was very nice and worked perfectly. Having 2 laundry facilities was perfect. Games for the young children to play plus the upper deck was large enough to ride their scooters. 2 dishwashers was also a big help as dirty dishes galore with meals for our large family. The WiFi is a bit slow but I did contact the main office notifying them. The grandchildren enjoyed seeing the deer and the baby fawn in the front area.

Stayed Jul 10, 2025We've been staying at Black Diamond every year for the last 10 years. It's a wonderful cabin with plenty of accomodations, a spacious kitchen, 5 bedrooms and a hottub. It had a huge wrap around deck overlooking Spearfish Canyon. I look forward to coming back every year and highly recommend it to anyone looking for lodging in the Terry Peak area.

Stayed Jul 1, 2025I loved the 5 king size beds and many full bathrooms. Multiple living rooms, and 3 porches with so much space! We were a group of 12 and had a wonderful time in this black hills retreat.

Stayed Jun 16, 2024We had 6 adults and two kids during our stay and could have slept more and still had plenty of space. The sleeping arrangements work well for multiple families to have privacy and enough private sleeping and restroom space. There were two beds/1 bath upstairs, 1 bed/2 bath main floor, and 2 beds/2 baths downstairs so it allowed for nice separation so we didn’t have to worry about waking people up if you wake up early or go to bed early. Our favorite part, the basement by far! The comfort of the couches and the entertainment things available made it for a memorable time! Very clean and the directions to get there are very clear!
