Everything was great. House exceeded expectations, very clean, well located, cozy and comfortable bed. The gas fireplaces were a bonus on a cold winter day. There was absolutely nothing we needed except an umbrella the day we left!

Host has created a cozy, warm environment that is beautifully appointed. The fireplaces are awesome for cold mountain evenings and mornings! We will definitely be back!

It exceeded my expectations! This sweet cabin was well appointed with every essentials you would need for a wonderful stay. We spent most of our time in the charming screened patio reading and enjoying the cozy fireplace. The location was perfect a quick 10 mins to downtown Highlands!

We loved the thoughtful design layout of the cabin and the convenience to cashiers or Highlands. The well equipped kitchen is perfect for making in-house meals and the screened porch is perfect for relaxing next to the fireplace. We can’t wait for our next trip!!

The house is full stocked, great layout and beautifully furnished. From the high end mattresses to the linens, a comfort plus stay. An easy 10 minutes to downtown Highlands. My girlfriends and I celebrated turning 40 this year. The screened in porch with the gas fireplace was the perfect place to hangout.

We loved everything about this home. Our third time to Highlands and our favorite stay so far. I kept forgetting I was at a rental, because it was over the top comfortable, clean and instantly felt like home. We loved the beautiful antiques, plush bedding, oriental rugs and little accents that made it feel quintessentially Highlands. The outdoor fireplace is easy to use and fun to relax by, the kitchen is well stocked and easy to use as well. Beds are so comfortable and the house is very quiet. A short drive to Highlands or Cashiers and we enjoyed spending time in both! We will be back to this lovely home!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Staghorn (and even tried to stay another night but it was booked). The location is perfect right between Highlands and Cashiers. The accommodations could not have been more perfect. Extremely comfortable beds, everything you need for a getaway so that you can enjoy the area and cook a family meal at home. We were so happy there was a pack-n-play (bring your own sheets) for our 19 month old. We also brought a small baby gate for the stairs. The back porch was magical as we relaxed from the day. This will be a regular place for us!

This is a lovely cottage. It is immaculately maintained and very private despite being in a neighborhood. I believe this is a new rental so it was missing a couple of trash cans in the bathrooms and there were no trash bags for putting your garbage into. Aside from that minor inconvenience the location and ambiance of the cabin were tops.
