Stayed Sep 12, 2025Honest feedback here: The house was clean and welcoming. It is a nice neighborhood and location to be situated in. The light in the entry did not work (specialty bulb that could not be remedied during our visit). Unfortunately it was the only light in the living room. Perhaps the addition of a lamp would help. Duane, the host was not able to respond quickly to my communication efforts. One surprise upon arrival was the lack of a door on one of the bathrooms. Doors are missing on closets-perhaps those are in the works. Peeling paint in the hall bathtub could use improvement for bathing infants. These are some things that would have been nice to know up front. We loved the campfire area in the yard! The BBQ was not ready for use- cleaning instructions regarding mold would be helpful. Finding a heater unit in each of the bedrooms was a fantastic feature of the home. Overall we had a very positive experience. There was plenty of seating, plenty of dishes and cookware for our group of 8. Duane wished us enjoyment in the rental and we certainly had a good time.

Stayed Jul 15, 2025Wonderful spot to lay your head in Wrangell. Close enough to walk downtown, good layout for guests, big open gathering spaces, beautiful deck and nice yard. Loved staying here for the week.
