We had a great time! Adult son and grandkids live in topeka. It was a great place for them to come and go with work and life while still enjoying time together. It snowed late one evening and the owner was there shoveling snow! I felt bad because we weren't going out but that was some good service!!
Super cute little house, close to the hospitals. Host was accommodating and kind!
Fun, cozy, sweet place- loved the neighborhood- beautiful fall walk!
Haley was awesome and very accommodating to our hotel check out and early check in to the cottage while we waited to close on our home 4 days. Later. Great cottage and quiet. Thank you
Fun stay
Overall was a great experience. Comfortable and clean. Easy communication with the property manager. Great place for anniversary and a weekend get away.
I was very impressed by this home. The neighborhood has a lot of families, walkable to the park, and quiet. We were in Topeka for a wedding and the recommended hotel was full so I booked this house. I absolutely loved it! It was very clean and the host had lots of cute touches throughout such as a fire pit with smore's kit and games. I was able to bring my aging dog and was excited not to have to leave him at a boarding facility. I will stay again as we do sometimes come to Topeka for family! It was perfect for two couples because it is basically similar to two separate apartments in one house.
Safe and quiet neighborhood. Very convenient to shopping and dining, but without the traffic. House has been setup nicely. Owner was fabulous, making sure we had all we needed. Beds were comfortable. House was very clean.
Was a great first experience in a vrbo! Would stay again when we come to visit!
My husband and I stayed with a friend from an event we were in town for. We loved this house! It is clean and well decorated. The s'mores kit for the fire pit was an awesome idea but it was just too hot to light it. The claw foot tub is awesome and the two living spaces (one upstairs and one down) is great if you need a little separation from other guests. We have another event in the fall and I hope to return then as well.
Haley's property was perfect for our stay. We appreciated her accommodations for our pets and kids. She was even gracious enough to allow us a last minute accommodation for friends traveling with us. We loved the character of this old home and are very happy with our experience.
Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! It was the perfect size for our family and doggies. Our children loved having access to the digital streaming services online and their own living room to watch TV. I wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to returning if ever back in the Topeka area.
This was such an amazing stay! It was super cozy and warm! I had several questions during my stay and Jennifer/Haley was very quick to respond. She made sure my family and I were well taken care of. The house was absolute stunning! So many amenities. Laundry and dryer worked great, plenty of different games to choose from, and the decor was super fun! There's a record player in the top bathroom which actually worked and played beautiful music by Frank Sinatra! The bathroom shower and kitchen sink had very hot water which is big for me considering the cold weather. There were puzzles, random cute little instruments, and fun sports and arts and crafts to keep us busy while in our stay. When I plan another trip to Topeka, KS, this will be my first choice ? THANK YOU JENNIFER/HALEY
We love old houses and this property was beautifully decorated and just fit our needs. The unusual roof line made for interesting rooms upstairs. We had my 98 year old mother with us and appreciated the ability for her to navigate the main floor. Thanks for a great stay.
