Grand Rapids, Michigan
In the heart of Grand Rapids sits the historic, quaint Alten City Cottage. Renovated, rich w/amenities, & centrally located blocks from several Iconic shopping & eating corridors: Eastown, Fulton Heights, & 1.5 miles to Downtown. I love the open floor plan, clean design, tall ceilings, cozy bedroom, & front yard. All the comforts of home w/a fully stocked kitchen & hotel-like amenities. Mathias Alten, the world-known GR painter, built the "honeymoon cottage" for his daughters. Pets allowed.

This property is so charming! The communication prior to our stay was excellent and prompt. Everything was very clean, tidy, and the kitchen had all that we needed! The best thing about this was the location, right on the edge of East GR with easy access to both EGR and Eastown. I highly recommend this for a weekend getaway!
Great stay, great area. One of the nicer VRBO's we'vd stayed in. Nice touches in the house made our stay very comfortable. Downtown is 5 minutes, grocery store around the corner. Will try to come back, if it's available!
We enjoyed our stay at this convenient and sweet cottage. Highly recommend!
It’s the most adorable cottage in a wonderful area. We hope to stay here for any future visits to Grand Rapids.
This quaint cottage is located in a great location for shopping, eating near Frederick Meijer gardens and downtown. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed to either make food or warm up leftovers. My only complaint is that the queen bed was too soft and not supportive enough for my back.
The place was decorated cute and clean-
