Cozy Shem Creek/Old Mount Pleasant Cottage

Great house, great location!

Great place for me to have a retreat during the winter. Hosts were very responsive.

This home was just perfect for our stay. The backyard was an oasis and our children loved playing and watching the squirrels and butterflies. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could have needed, the beds and towels were so comfortable. Messages were responded to quickly.. we cant wait to come back and stay again!!

This cottage is a beautiful and comfortable home in a great location! The backyard was a great bonus - tranquil, fenced, and well-landscaped with multiple seating areas. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, shops, and areas to walk; additionally, it is extremely convenient to downtown Charleston!.

This Shem Creek Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. The location is very convenient to Shem Creek, downtown Charleston, and the rest of Mount Pleasant. It is a very safe and peaceful location with plenty of places to walk; the fenced in backyard is very private and a very relaxing retreat. The home was immaculate and was arranged very comfortably; it had all of the amenities that you would need in a home away from home!.

House was very clean and updated. Owner was very helpful on ideas of things to do in the area. Nice back yard for relaxing. Everything was great.

A VRBO is all about location, but then there are those VRBOs that not only want to make you book but make it yours forever. The location, peaceful , and nestled in a safe neighborhood where one can walk in the morning and be greeted with others enjoying the location. The layout of the cottage both from the front yard with the large spreading trademark of a live oak to the secluded and spacious lay out of the backyard provided everything you’d want at you fingertips, all the modern amenities and charm. Definitely a refreshing vacation location and cottage!

We had a fabulous stay! Updated property with quality items throughout: quality linens, towels, televisions, seating outside with grill and a firepit…highly recommend!

This was a great vacation house. It was well decorated and had a wonderful outside area for relaxing in the evening. It was an easy drive to many of the local attractions. We felt like we experienced true southern hospitality.

Our grown children joined us for a family wedding weekend in Mt. Pleasant. The VRBO was very nice and professional. There were some basic supplies provided - shampoo, coffee, etc All 5 of us enjoyed staying there - we could walk to a few restaurants and to get supplies. Ubering was easy - Charleston was close by and really fun to explore. The beach was also close by and lovely.
