We had the best weekend here! They have so many amenities, paddle boats,kayaks and more.They supplied the wood for our s’mores.! The kids loved it here! The house was decorated so beautiful and it was so clean! We will definitely be back!!

We had an outstanding stay at this lakefront home. The property itself is beautiful, and the setting on the lake makes it even better. The dock is a huge highlight—two boat slips, a swim ladder, plenty of space to fish, and even a sink to clean your catch if you decide to keep it. Everything about the setup is practical and well thought out.It was incredibly quiet and peaceful during our stay, which is exactly what we were looking for. If you prefer a more lively atmosphere, it sounds like things pick up around May when the season starts and local businesses are fully open.That said, there’s really no need to leave the property—it has everything you need to relax and enjoy yourself. But if you do want to explore, there are plenty of things to do within about a 45-minute drive.The owner was excellent—great communication from start to finish and a genuinely attentive host. That always makes a difference, and it showed here.My kids and I both enjoyed the stay just as much, which says a lot. We’d absolutely come back.

The cabin was exactly as described, but the lake views from the porch and dock are actually better than the pictures. The kitchen has anything you could possibly need and the unit and grounds were clean and well maintained. It was close to Cheaha State Park and an easy drive to the speedway. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was perfect. Had everything we could have ever needed inside and outside the home. The private boat dock was great, definitely better than taking ur bout out everyday. Was a peaceful and beautiful sit overlooking this amazing lake. Angela was a perfect host, always eager to pls and very accommodating. We will definitely be back.

First and foremost the communication was a breeze with the host. Arrived to cabin to find an awesome piece of lake Wedowee paradise! The cabin itself was super clean! and Cozy, perfect name for the place. Stocked full of everything you need for a great stay at the lake. And then you have the dock! What an awesome setup for the family to fish. I highly recommend booking this house, we will definitely be coming back!

We recently stayed at this vacation home, and it exceeded all our expectations. Angela was such a great host and made sure that our stay was perfect. The home was so clean and exactly what we had hoped for - a comfortable and well-stocked lake house. We fished from the dock every day, and caught quite a few fish (even in the peak of summer and with unusual weather conditions). We will definitely be renting this home again in the future and highly recommend if you’re looking for a great Lake Wedowee vacation rental!

Everything was as advertised. The house is very nicely appointed and cozy. The lake view is great, and the use of the dock and boats was wonderful. I have no complaints at all.

My wife and I really enjoyed stayed our stay. This place was perfect for our quick weekend trip to Wedowee. We relaxed down by the water and even took a paddle boat ride. Highly recommend this place.

Our stay was very peaceful, restful, and homey. Everything we needed was in the home to freely enjoy. The host was very helpful with getting our boat unloaded and reloaded at the boating dock. When I say that everything you need is in this lake home, I sincerely mean it. We would definitely recommend this home if you’re looking for tranquility and seclusion. Much needed vacation!

My family and I had a wonderful time over Memorial Day weekend at this beautiful lake house. The pictures of the property don’t do it justice- it’s even better than the amazing photos. The owner has everything you could need for a perfect lake trip and she is so responsive to any questions you may have! Great experience and great location for a getaway with fun things to do for entertainment, fishing, hiking, public parks, etc!

10/10 hands down best we have stayed at!!! Very clean, very relaxing, peaceful, and the fishing was AWESOME!! Already booked another vacation for the end of summer.

Angela was such a pleasure to book with. The home was clean and beautiful! I could tell this home was kept with love. My kids enjoyed the kayaks and boats. My husband caught catfish, Largemouth bass and Carp fish from the dock. If you are looking for a family getaway any time of the year, this is the perfect place.

The cabin was just as pictured and described. It was very clean and stocked with pretty much anything you may need for a weekend getaway. Communication with the owner was great. The complimentary waters on the night stands were a nice touch.

Our stay was simply amazing! Communication with Angela was so nice not having to communicate with a company you could text her to ask her anything. She was readily available at all times! The house was awesome, very comfortable. The hill going down to the dock was a little steep just because we were traveling with an infant, but the dock and lake was so nice. We caught so many fish even with the lake being low due to beginning of the season. I saw a review about the dirt road getting to the house being bad, to me it was very easy to navigate. Overall it was such a great experience! We will definitely be back in the fall!

If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway this is the place. The home was remote enough for peace and quiet, but still close to stores and restaurants. Flat Rock park and other hiking trails were within a short drive. Wake up each morning with a view of the lake. Relax at night in front of the electric fireplace. We visited in late December.

Beautiful lake house! Very clean & very well taken care of. Angie, the host, was the kindest. I cannot say that we’ve ever had a host this amazing. She reached out to us before arriving to make sure we knew where everything was and she was quick to reply with any questions. We can’t wait to go back!

The property was nice and as pictured. Google maps took us to the wrong house, but other than that, there were no hiccups. The house was very cozy, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prep/serve our meals. We enjoyed all of our meals on the back porch overlooking the lake...very peaceful. We had a nice, relaxing weekend. We would definitely come here again! One recommendation, that the host have check-out time and instructions visibly posted somewhere in the house, along with the wi-fi code.

We had a fantastic anniversary getaway. We towed our fishing boat and were able to launch at a free public ramp and tie off at the covered cabin dock until we headed home. The kitchen was well-stocked and the furniture was comfy and cozy. The owner was fantastic with communication and suggestions. We will definitely be back! The covered back deck was an added bonus.

Lovely well appointed cabin on the lake, very clean, well equipped, Angela was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Comfortable beds, beautiful views..was perfect..if we can come back to Alabama, we will definitely be staying here again..loved it

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house. It was cozy, Angie was great, and we loved sitting out on the deck taking in the lake view in the morning. A surprise delight were the hummingbirds! There's a hummingbird feeder on one end of the deck and it brought a number of hummingbirds in throughout the day. Thanks Angie!

My wife and I travel a lot for work! This is by far the best place we’ve ever stayed! From great communication to cozy everything including the bed. Even got the chance for some dock fishing and caught a nice bass 🎣. Don’t pass up this place if you’re in the area.
