The Space:

This historic antebellum home has been reimagined as The Palms of Charleston, a luxurious retreat with timeless charm. Enjoy a beautifully designed space and access to a stunning shared courtyard with a hot tub — perfect for gathering. All just 1 block from King St!



** Please note the home is divided into 3 completely separate units - A / B / C. They share the common courtyard space and hot tub, but each has a private entrance with dedicated porch seating **

Guest Access:

• Guests have exclusive access to Suite A and the front porch. The entrance to the house is through the courtyard, accessed from Saint Philip St.



• The house has an electronic door lock and a unique code will be provided that will work for the duration of your stay.



• Parking: 1 parking space is provided at an off site parking lot located on the same block as the home. The parking lot is 0.1mi away, a 1-2 min walk.



The Neighborhood:

This home is in the most vibrant and walkable area in Charleston. It is 1 block from King St, where the city's most famous restaurants are just a step away. Nightlife begins literally around the corner. Convenient to all tourist attractions. This home is tucked away with a private entrance and courtyard in an extremely safe area.

• This home is divided into 3 separate units. Suite A is located on the ground floor. Suites B / C are located on the second & third floors. They share the courtyard and hot tub.



• Baby gear rentals are available upon request for an additional fee.



• This home is not child-proofed. Families with infants are welcome, but please be aware of this.



• For security purposes only, there are two exterior cameras. They monitor the patio and brick alley entrance.



• There are excessive noise monitors present on the property. These do not record audio - only decibel levels.

    The host seemed very welcoming, and the house was in a great location; we could basically walk everywhere we wanted to go within the city. House was very clean, which was a big deal to us. Hosts were very clear in instructions, which was appreciated. There was definitely nighttime traffic around the house, but the hosts provided sound machines which helped. There was some noisy guests in the suite above us, but that was not the host's faults, so I would stick with an excellent rating.

    We had an awesome time at The Palms! Location, establishment, porch, and courtyard all combined to make our visit enjoyable. The only drawback we had was a surprise request to check fire extinguisher currency. A notification 24hrs prior would have alleviated the questionable situation and we would have been happy to accommodate. When visiting in the future would definitely stay again!

    Having reserved parking was great. The home was clean and spacious. The outdoor area was beautiful, we spent a lot of time on the porch. It was a convenient walk to King Street. All the appliances were new, the bathrooms were very nice with plenty of towels. There were a lot of little extras like the sound machines and USB ports.

    Property as advertised, actually even better. The home was decorated in a coastal theme and very nice. The porch and courtyard is amazing. We spent a lot time enjoying the area. Tom and Hannah are exceptional hosts. A big shout out to Brandy who assisted us with a small issue.The only comment is that there is a 1.5ft step up to get to the courtyard snd the property. If someone has mobility issues can be a challenge.Location is less than 5min from King St and downtown Charleston in general. Very easy to navigate.Property is highly recommended.

    We had a fantastic stay for our girls weekend! The location was perfect—just steps from King Street and within easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. The house was spotless and very well maintained. Check-in was super easy and hassle-free. One of our favorite parts was the outdoor space—it was a great spot to relax and hang out after a day of exploring. Highly recommend!

    interior/furniture of condo seemed to be brand new, very nice and clean. Neighborhood is nice and seemed safe. Only recommendation i would advise on is : add ceiling fans to outside porch and maybe the bedrooms. We noticed Suite B had ceiling fans on porch

    We had a very nice 3 night stay. The three bedroom unit was very well appointed and the community courtyard was a great plus. The weather allowed us to use both our covered porch as well as the courtyard sitting area. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities. Location was truly one block off King, a plus. But with that location comes the street noise of vehicles, pedestrians, and the nearby fire station.

    We had a great stay at The Palms. The location was the best and we could walk everywhere. The Palms was spacious, nicely decorated and had everything we could possibly need for a great stay. The outdoor area was beautiful. We stayed with our two teenage sons and their grandparents and we all had plenty of room. Our oldest son plans on going to the College of Charleston next year so hopefully we can stay here many more times when we visit.

    We recently stayed at The Palms and had a truly wonderful experience. The property was just perfect-not only ideally located for exploring historic/downtown Charleston, but College of Charleston. The neighborhood is fantastic-truly eclectic with so many great coffee shops, restaurants and great places to walk. Tom and Hannah were the ideal hosts and so responsive to and questions and provided great recommendations all throughout our stay. Highly recommend The Palms!
