Cozy Home In Bourbonnais-2 king beds close to O.N.U.

The stay was perfect! Ami was an excellent host and communicated well. The neighborhood is beautiful. The house and property was very clean but I would have liked some cleaning items left at the house (broom, mop, vacuum), just because we stayed a week and messes happen especially with kids and pets. But we managed and it was a great stay and very nicely located!

This place actually surprised me. It was in the city, which I usually only rent rural properties, but you wouldn't think it was in a city because it's near the campus. The campus is incredibly well kept and the surrounding neighborhoods are incredibly well-kept. This is an All-American neighborhood that literally looks like it would be in a calendar. There are families out walking around. There are kids out riding their bikes. The host even has bikes in the garage that you can use to join in. It is quiet and peaceful at night. Coming from a big city in Texas, this was a very relaxing neighborhood. Our kids were able to go out and hang out with the neighborhood kids, which they really liked. It was like living in the 90s again, when you could just say go out and play and they could actually just go out and play. It is right down the street from a grocery store and a coffee shop. The house was very clean and there were no random decorations or clutter. I would absolutely stay here again or at any of the other properties hosted by this person. They even provided a basket of snacks so that my kids could munch on stuff in that time after you check in but before dinner is done. This would also be a great longer term rental as it is near the fossil park and it's still within driving distance of other cities and the river.

House was clean and looked like the pictures. I gave 4 stars because the window in the queen bedroom would not lock and one of the adult bikes is not useable in its current condition. It makes a very loud noise when trying to ride like something is grinding. The biggest issue was truly the window as that’s where kids were supposed to sleep but I couldn’t sleep well knowing the window was not able to be locked

Great experience

My family loves staying here when we visit. Theres a tv in every room, boardgames in the closet, most of what youd need in the kitchen, and a spacious fenced in back yard. Its on a quiet street and there is an assortment of bikes and a few yard games in the garage. Great place and very affordable!

The home was very warm and inviting, decorated for the holiday season, and very conveniently located! The fenced-in yard was very helpful for bringing our dogs and giving them a place to run and play!

We have stayed with Ami many times over several years and we are always very comfortable in her homes. The Bourbonnais home is always clean, festive for the season, well lit, and accommodating. We are headed back in a couple of months!

Nice home with 3 bedrooms and fenced in yard. Our son enjoyed riding one of the bikes in garage, and I enjoyed using the kettle and keurig for warm drinks.

This was the perfect home for our needs - a few days out of our house during a renovation. Conveniently located, clean, modern decor parking, yard. Just what we needed.

It was over for the July weekend. My dog doesn’t like fireworks, so we leave every year to go to a location that’s a bit quieter. Nice location, friendly neighbors

My wife, 6 y/o daughter, two standard poodles and I stayed two nights while visiting family in the Chicagoland area. Communication was good and the stay was what we needed - good. Would recommend, we would stay again.

We felt welcomed as soon as we entered the home. The owner had included a lot of nice touches and amenities. There were many, but the ones we took advantage of were: the well-stocked coffee selection and Keurig machine, snacks on the counter, laundry with detergent, 5-gallon water dispenser with heat/chill, and even the lowly (but much needed) extension cord! We were there for two weeks, so when I texted the owner for more 5-gallon water bottles, they were delivered within hours. She was very accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again the next time we're in the area.

House was super cozy. House was fully stocked with everything you and your family could need for your stay. Bathroom shower’s water pressure was everything. Wall’s and doors could use a cleaning but other than that house was clean and cozy.

Awesome place to stay especially if you have children attending ONU or if you are attending an event at ONU. This house is perfect and amazing, highly recommend!
