Cozy Coastal Cottage minutes from beaches of St George Island

Perfect spot to enjoy St George Island, Appalachicola and Eastpoint! Highly recommend

Property was just what we wanted, the location was close to beaches and fishing. Amy and her husband were friendly and answered any questions we had. Will definitely stay there again.

We had a Blast!!. Such a great property and even a more amazing host in Amy. Very cordial and and took care of everything for us. The home has everything you need in amenities and comforts. No need to look further, It is just Close Enough to everything you need for an amazing vacation. Thanks again Amy for a great stay, we look forward to next year.

This cozy but roomy cottage had everything we needed, including a Gulf view, even though it's not right on the water. The kitchen was clean and fully equipped. Everything was functional, and it was very quiet and peaceful there. The Close Enough cottage was near everything that we wanted to explore.There's a washer and dryer, which I didn't use, and 2 TVs. The host was easy to communicate with if needed. We had a lovely time! I highly recommend for a couple, two couples or a family.

Close enough was everything we needed. We like to explore while we are in town. So being close enough to several places made it worth while. Great location, quiet, quaint little home beautifully decorated. We would definitely come back and stay again.

Let me start off by stating that my two young children felt very comfortable here. My family & I love everything about this place, every detail and space of this home was clean and organized. I will be renting from here every time we come to visit St. George Island. Also, the hand painted rocks are beautiful.

We did not stay at the house. The booking process and communication with the host was very easy.

We stayed a week at the cottage and it was wonderful. The home was clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the mornings and evenings and hearing birds while we drank our coffee. Eastpoint is one of our favorite places in the Forgotten Coast, and the cottage was a perfect place to stay. We will be back again.

Cozy home just a short walk from the Gulf. Very quiet and comfortable. Well stocked with everything you might need for a Forgotten Coast stay. They even had individual packs of sunscreen!

We had a delightful stay at Close Enough, despite the weather not being ideal. The cottage itself had everything we needed and space enough for our remote work/snowbirding stay. The location to numerous restaurants, beaches and waterways was perfect! Hopefully on another trip to Forgotten Florida, we’ll have a chance to stay here again.

Another year at Close Enough did not disappoint. The house is great with all of the amenities you could ask for. The bed is super comfy and the shower is amazing. I do not have a single complaint about this place. We will be back again next year.

Very nice bungalow, perfect for the two of us with a very large yard!! Quiet and private. Just close enough to everything we love about the area!! Will definitely return soon!!

Beautiful home. Perfect for a small group of people. There was three of us and it was just right. The kitchen had everything we needed. The porch was perfect for the cool mornings to enjoy our coffee. Quick access to Carrabelle, Eastpoint St. George Island and anywhere in between. Will for sure be back.

We had extended our local stay and were not able to stay in our first spot, so found this place, and were very pleased. This is a super cute little house, you could sit on the back porch and watch the bay. It was well-appointed and had plenty of coffee, kitchen utensils etc. The owner has put a lot of personal touches and art in the home, it is a really cute house. Enjoyed our stay!

Nice little cottage to get away a few days and do some fishing. Only down side of trip weather didn’t play out to go offshore

Exactly as advertised. Nice and quiet area. Very clean. The whole place was great but a big shout out to a nice big clean shower with phenomenal water pressure!

The cottage was the perfect stay in Eastpoint. With a short (and scenic) drive to St. George Island where we were able to meet up with family daily, it was the best case scenario for our small party. The furnishings are lovely, well kept, clean, and cozy. We appreciated the toiletries available, that there were plenty of towels, and a well equipped kitchen with any tool we needed. Would highly recommend the Cozy Coastal Cottage and would stay again.

This is a wonderful place to unwind for a few days. It is quiet and off the main road. We did have a glitch while checking in (because things happen). The owner responded with in ten minutes of my text and quickly resolved the issue. It was a great stay and we will use this property again when in the Eastpoint area.

My second time of staying at this sweet cottage. Almost a last minute get-a-way planning and all went well. I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend…..Way Over Due…..

We loved our time there! The cottage was so well maintained; clean, modernized, ample parking. We liked the way everything was laid out! The host had obviously put some thought into how everything came together. I’m a fan of local culture, and appreciated the book of photographs by the local naturalist! In Apalachicola, we bought two photographs from the Emmy award winner Richard Bickel! The guidebook, albeit outdated, was appreciated and still useful! I was happy to have the dishwasher, large shower, and laundry on site. I would recommend putting in a horizontal grab bar in the shower for safety purposes. We will definitely be back next year!

We had the best time here. The house was so clean and cozy. We had everything we needed plus so much more. The neighborhood is very quiet and we were close to all of the surrounding towns. This is the perfect spot for duck hunters like us because we were minutes from all of the boat ramps. We will see you again next year!

The house was amazing, older but redone in the perfect way. All the little touches made this place wonderful, you can see the bay from the house, still close enough the everything. The host was very responsive. For me this is a most definitely on my list to stay again!!!
