Cozy cabin with great views and fire place!

We really loved this property. Close to Bellayre and only about 20 minutes to Plattekill. Very clean and quiet, no complaints at all. Will stay again if we get the opportunity!

Such an adorable, clean and cozy get away. Maria was a super easy going host. The fireplace and living room were super cozy and tranquil and the views were great! Lovely time.

House was in great condition, very clean and Maria was very nice. About 10 minutes from Belleayre Mountain. Peekamoose restaurant about 15 minutes away was very good as well.

We had a wonderful time! The cabin was spotless, beautiful views. We enjoyed the area, taking a few field trips, or just relaxing on the property. Maria is a great house, responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Be sure to book this secluded restful cabin if you are heading to beautiful upstate NY. Btw 5g wireless was a blessing, was able to do a bit of business no problems!

Great, clean, well-equipped cabin in a very nice location. Feels very secluded but is also a convenient distance from everything in the area. Really enjoyed it and would love to come back!

We love Hog Cabin and just had our 3rd stay. Plan to be back next year. The property is gorgeous and the atmosphere totally relaxing!

The place wad dusty and old. The interior was very hodgey podgey, cheap, and def not done by someone who has been in the hospitality industry. A lot of stuff’s seemingly belong to the people who owns the place left behind like old foods, personal items, half eaten condiments, dead flies by window sills. Many things looked and felt un-intentional for guests staying. For example, bunk bed on the second bedroom had bunch of trash bags full of their own stuffs with sign that says don’t move. The entire stay I felt like staying at a strangers house while they were away. Felt creepy and unwelcome. At least bed sheets smelled washed and not used before my stay and coffee machine worked I wish people who is going to rent their house knew the basic Concepts of hospitality business...

The location was remote, more so than we thought with multiple hills. I got car sick from the drive but I will say Maria let us check in early. The cottage was smaller in person but had a smell of being closed for too long, we had to air the place out. I was concerned about the back door, it appeared that someone tried to kick it in and there was a lock on outside of the 2nd bedroom, we decided to stay away from that room. We were not supplied wood even though the listing shows the wood stove. Go get wood, we had to bc it was so cold. Even with the thermostat elevated, the location was cold. We had to keep the wood door to the stove open to keep warm and the heat did not travel to the bedroom that didn’t have a lock. During our stay, I fell skiing and had to be carried down the mountain, I hurt my knee and hip. I woke up the next morning to a nose bleed. We decided to leave early. I washed all the dishes, we separated the recyclables and garbage. Left the cardboard boxes by the door on the counter, we didn’t want to leave anything outside to attract animals. I cleaned the counter tops and we tried to walk the rooms to pick up anything left behind. There was one peoce of a stick on the floor that I couldn’t pick up bc of my knee. Maria wrote this crazy review that we left the location a mess! The listing had a cleaning charge.We even shoveled bc it kept snowing. The drive way is steep, we had to be careful. She went on a rant that we drove on her pavers, the snow covered them

We had a great experience with Hog Cabin. The place was clean and perfect for our family of 3. It was less than 10 minutes to Belleayre which was perfect as we were up there to ski! Maria was quick to respond with any questions we had. You will need to bring firewood if you plan to make a fire (and you will want to - it makes the cabin nice and cozy!) We had fun spying the hidden characters in the cabin as well. Pro Tip: Check out Tito Banditios in Pine Hill for delish Mexican (make a reservation)or Goatie Whites in Fleishmanns for Italian fare.mexica

Thanks to Maria for opening up this warm and cozy cabin. We really enjoyed our stay, especially since we got to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day there, which made the whole experience even more special. Maria was very responsive to our questions, and the cabin had everything we needed. The hot water came out really fast and hot, which was definitely appreciated after a ski trip! The cabin is also very convenient to Belleayre Ski Resort. During our stay, it snowed overnight, and by the next day, the driveway was cleared, allowing us to get home safely. It's the little details like this that made our experience so memorable. We loved the fireplace, and my kids had a blast playing in the snow outside. We’ll definitely be back!

Hubby and I wanted to get away and had a great time at Hogg Cabin It was clean ,welcoming and very cozy ! We actually had a visit from some horses ?

The cabin is in a relaxing setting with views. We enjoyed using the fire pit in the evening. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. My husband and I wanted to get away alone and relax and that is what this property delivered. Secluded but close to market, restaurants etc. The hostess Maria is quick to respond to any inquiries. Highly recommended!

The property was exactly as described and the area is simply beautiful. We saw many birds as well as turkeys and deer. Our favorite thing was waking up in the morning and watching the bunnies in the yard while drinking our coffee in the comfy bed. I appreciate the parking being out of the yard as it preserves the beauty of the landscape. Thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and parts of the surrounds areas.
