Great walkable location. Very comfortable and cozy. Really enjoyed closeness to beach. Only short 5 minute walk to beach.

It was a nice value in a very nice location. My wife, our dog, and I enjoy walking and found some pet friendly places. The studio was charming and had what we needed. There was nothing special about the welcome on check in. We didn't know there was a market very near as it was on a section of the next road over that one would never be on and only stumbled on it our last evening there... so ya... a little map and a welcome note would have been nice and helpful as this sort of thing is when you want to put the cell phone away.

Property was nice, checking was easy once we got the bugs out of the website. Property management was not the issue VRBO’s website would not let me access info. Only issue we had with property was the bed, I am a big guy and the bed was so soft that I was enveloped by mattress which made it hard to sleep, unable to move or roll over. If you are small in stature you should be fine. Everything else was as advertised.

We spent 4 days here and it was amazing!!! Everything you could ask for and then some. Quite cozy for 2! Lana was great. Responded right away to text messages and was an excellent host! We will definitely be back!

This is a cute and quaint little cottage with all of the things you would need inside it. Bed is comfortable. Lots of TV channels. Very clean. I stay here 9 nights at a time on business trips and will continue to stay here when I am in town and it is available.

The location is great and included parking which is very important for Santa Cruz. In addition the refrigerator was nice and large. The mattress and towels were also of good quality and the available laundry room also s positive On the negative side the television was very small and the cable service available the worst I have ever had with Expedia- I have never had a cable offering without ESPN or any of the cable news networks. In addition there were very few drawers to put clothes on and the pillows were low quality. The kitchen was not a cooking kitchen nor was there a table for 2 to eat at other than outside where it was too cold. The worst thing was we had an unannounced water cut off due to a leak in the plumbing and we were without water for 2 hours. When we approached the owner about this she was completely unsympathetic and told me that “situations happen”. The least she could have done was to buy us breakfast as this was a total inconvenience for that morning without toilets or showers. She had absolutely no empathy at all. I would never stay at another of her properties in the future

. .with the others who have said this is an excellent place to stay! Not far from attractions, we spent the day at the SC Arboretum and it was fantastic. Very cozy surroundings, landscaping was awesome and off-street parking was much appreciated.

It is a great off-season getaway location, with a walkable beach and dining access.

This is a great location! We brought our little pug puppy. There’s a dog beach at the end of the block so this is perfect. We enjoyed The Crow’s Nest and the Market next door. Also loved Zelda’s and Armida tasting room in Capitola. The cottage itself is charming but a little tight. We were out enjoying the beautiful weather so it wasn’t a big deal. 73* in January! Overall it was lovely.

Clean, quiet, just what we needed. Will stay here again. Loved walking two blocks to the beach!

Near family so very convenient.

Was originally going to keave a 4 out of 5 star review because i had to end up sleeping on the floor due to the mattresses being really lumpy and causing me severe back and neck pain in the morning. However, she is currently texting me claiming i left feces everywhere!!! She is also trying to charge me $200 to clean alleged feces. My husband and I cleaned the property before leaving and even sent her a message letting her know how we left the property clean. So bizarre. Do not recommend. Feels like she is trying to scam us for extra money.
