Country Redwood Home With Remarkable Smith River Views

this was a short stay as part of a longer road trip. The accommodation and in particular where the house is is fantastic, couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for a lovely stay

The home was beautiful. I loved that it wasn't super updated because it kept the rustic and charm of being a house in the woods. The best part was the creek in the back. There are stairs that go down to the creek, just use caution and take it slow. We loved the privacy the home gave. We didn't hear any other neighbors until we were loading our car to leave. Dylan was extremely responsive whenever I had messaged him prior to our stay. We did not need to message while there as all information was provided. We would absolutely stay again and I've already recommended this property to family and friends. Thank you, Dylan!

This is our second time staying here, we love how clean it was and how cozy it felt. Also love being right on the river.

This home on the river was absolutely what we needed for a relaxing family trip. Dylan was easy to communicate with and helpful. The house was very well stocked, well taken care of and comfortable. The views/sounds of the river were wonderful. We saw otters playing, deer, ducks, and banana slugs-such an enjoyable respite from the busy-ness of life. (One thing to mention is the steps down to the river are very steep. This wasn’t a problem for us but may be to those with limited physical abilities.) At just around 20 minutes to Crescent City, we were close enough to town and we spent several days hiking in the Redwood forest. Overall, it was a great trip and we would definitely recommend this property.

We had an amazing stay and the house was perfect for our home base to explore the beach and the redwoods! We loved having the river access available as well. The pool table was a big hit our kids were hooked. Thank you again for letting us enjoy your beautiful home…we will be back:)

Spacious, private, beautiful home with all the amenities we would hope for in a picturesque forest and river setting. Easy access to the property. Great communication with the owner. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to go again!

Our family stayed for spring break and we had the best time! We didn't want it to end and wish we could live here. It's such a beautiful and peaceful place that takes you back to simplicity. We enjoyed breathtaking views of the Smith River and had deer visit in the front yard. Everyday was a new adventure either exploring the Redwood Forest or playing at the beach. Awesome host with great communication.
