Cotter house on the Hill

Never have i been so shocked with any of the rentals I've stayed at in this area!! If i had a phone number for the owner i would have demanded my money back upon arrival. Before we even got to the porch via a steep broken concrete stairway that we all stumbled on, we could hear a terrible racket that turned out to be a small window air conditioner in the living room which had to be turned off. So we had to depend on numerous fans scattered around the rooms. We smothered. Thankfully it wasn't cold though because the only heat was a small wall unit in the living room. No privacy to shower and get ready for a funeral because you had to maneuver the small bedroom to get go the bathroom. But the worst of it all was the smell. Upon entering the house, the nauseating smell of glade plug ins all of which were all different scents. Even that combination did not cover up the smell of mold and mildew. And that back yard where the web description said had ample parking....only a small 4-wheeler could get to it, so, had to park on a narrow road. Cheap nasty carpet covered a squishy uneven floor that felt as though you'd break thru. Horrible experience!!!!

Yes everything was perfect we traveled from Florida everything was ready for a good nights rest

The owners were very helpful and answered all my questions. I'm a fisherman and this location worked great for me.

Had a great time, quiet and centerally located. Quick response from owners. Very well decorated. Washer and dryer very much like home away from home. Everyone had a great time.

Spent the evening with family playing cards. Nice accomodations. Plenty of beds and seating. Very large back yard, but would be nice if mowed / maintained better.

Great place to stay. Great location. Have everything onsite that you would need and more.

For the price point, this is an excellent rental. For the price of a midrange hotel, we had a 2 br 1 bath house with a comfortable living room, fully stocked kitchen, fast wifi, tvs in all the bedrooms and the living room, and a big back yard. If you imagine a rural grandmother's house youll have an idea of the overall condition of the house. The only thing to be aware of when renting the house is that access to the bathroom is through the main bedroom.The owners are very quick to respond to messages, and the area is extremely relaxing.

First of all, it was great to be close to my home area. The house was cute and comfy. The hosts left a list of everything that was in the area. While we were there, we had storms that knocked out the power and as a result the water heater. The hosts were very responsive to fix it and were so nice! They responded quickly too, when my husband accidentally locked us out by locking the extra lock. OOPS! Overall, we had a great stay and was able to have my family visit.

This is an older property, but adequate for my needs.

The property description is spot on, and fit our needs! We will be back!! Thanks again!!!
