Stayed Jul 19, 2025We enjoyed our stay in Lochcarron despite some gloomy weather. The house feels like you are visiting your granny. Old fashioned but very comfortable. Had everything we needed and it was a great base for travelling around the area. It also has a nice wee garden with beautiful planting and a river gurgling past. Local shop was very well stocked and within walking distance, the owner was on hand to greet us on arrival and lived nearby in case of any problems. We had a very relaxing stay.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Nice and comfortable. It is more spacious than it appears from the main photograph. The bedrooms are a good size as well, (no need to stuff cases under the bed.) It is only about an eight minute walk down to the village. There is a pleasant view from the sitting room window, and one can see part of the loch. Would happily return. And hope to do so one day.
