Everything was perfect. We were warmly welcomed by the property owner. Nice view of the mountains from both sides of the cottage. The backside offers a panoramic view over the mountain. We had the chance to see a fawn in the cottage's garden in early morning. Lovely area. Unfortunately, we had a bad luck to injure a fawn in a corner of a road. The poor fawn had no way to escape since the road was fenced on over 3 miles. So, as advice please be careful on road for wildlife protection. Many thanks to the property owner for her welcome gifts and her kindness.

A luxurious, spacious property which was extremely well equipped and renovated to a high standard. Ann, the owner, lives next door and was very welcoming, but made sure we had our privacy. She was easy to get hold of if we had any problems. The cottage is in a beautiful setting and would recommend it for a peaceful stay in the countryside. Well placed to explore surrounding areas if you don’t mind some single track roads here and there. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Had a great stay at Carron view, host was friendly and very helpful. Location was remote just what we needed. We explored the Highlands and came back to a warm and cosy place. Definitely need to visit again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A fantastic week spent in a well equipped and spacious cottage. As hillwalkers the property was ideally based to access a large number of hills. It was nice to return to the accommodation after spending a day outdoors. Having rented properties in Scotland over a number of years this particular property is right up there with the best. The owner was very friendly and on hand to answer any queries. I look forward to returning to Carron View in the future. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This is a luxurious property with a large beautiful lounge which overlooks the glen. The view here is wonderful and we saw deer on the hillside several times during the week. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in, the kitchen is modern with everything we needed, and there was a large selection of books and magazines. The owner lives next door, which is always useful, and gave us a lovely welcome hamper which included wine and strawberries! This is an excellent holiday cottage, in a great location with some of the most scenic views within a short drive. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to return there soon. Had a wonderful holiday, cottage was very well equipped and very comfortable, owner was fantastic, very welcoming and nothing was a bother. Have scored the local amenities a 6 but this was simply because there weren't many, this is not a negative- that was why we chose to stay here, the lack of shops etc wasn't an issue for us. The views of the surrounding hills and the peace and quiet (interrupted only by the baaing of sheep and calls of golden eagles) was bliss and just what we needed. Very well organised property, everything you might need - doesn't feel like holiday home. Honestly, couldn't find anything wrong in property, even mentioned water supply from spring is hard to notice (water seems to well filtered as havent noticed any odd taste). Please, note that pictures of living room and kitchen are not up to date - now looks much better). Property location next to road isn't problem - building layout makes almost immposible to notice any road noise. In my opinion location is bonus - easy to find, easy to park - for someone who use a car for travel around is ideal spot. Definitely would recommend - very nice place to stay and ,in my opinion, perfect location to explore around.
