Contemporary Home Near Linfield, Near Historic Downtown

This property was wonderful! It is so refreshing to find listings that are actually an entire space, and to find properties so well-stocked! Janet had everything we could have needed — linens, towels, shampoo, aloe vera gel, bandaids, board games, kitchen utensils, spices, etc. Each bedroom had its own heating/cooling which was helpful. Janet also had a binder of suggestions, including a temporary mini-golf course that had opened for the week we were there (which we enjoyed going to!). I would strongly consider scheduling my next trip to McMinnville around the availability of this Vrbo.

The host is great, the house was decorated for Christmas so when we walked we were treated with lights and homeyness. We were also left with pastries for our breakfast - it was very special.

This property was a gem! We were visiting our son who attends Linfield and it was minutes away. Parking and neighborhood was convenient and safe. House was fully stocked with everything we needed to feel like home. They even left snacks and drinks! It was equipped with tons of games for the kids to keep them busy and they were so accommodating as we asked if there was an earlier check in as we arrived really early in the morning. We loved this property and would definitely stay again!

The house was a great location to Lynnfield College, where our grandson is. The house was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was stocked very nicely with a welcoming bottle of wine and snacks. The beds are very small queens, they feel more like doubles. And we did have trouble with the cable. It kept going out. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

This house and location was perfect for our “Sisters trip”.

Clean home with a lot of amenities. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioners kept the home nice and cool. Close to stores, restaurants and activities. Host is super nice and left some welcoming surprises in the fridge.

We were in town to drop our son off at Lindfield University. The location is so close to the university, 5 minute walk. It’s also walkable (but we didn’t) to the main downtown spots on 3rd street. House is nice, near apartments, but they were not noisy and we felt safe. My wife and MIL went for walks in the neighborhood a few times with no concerns. Overall, the owner was attentive and helpful.

We had a wonderful time. You could walk to many places. It was comfy, just what we needed.

The house was well laid out and just as noted in the pictures. Having the garage for parking was a bonus and the TV carried full coverage of the Kentucky Derby which we would have otherwise not been able to see. The host provided us with lovely pastries, blueberries and a bottle of wine which was also a bonus. Restaurants, the beautiful Linfield College campus, grocery stores and ice cream were all within walking distance. The neighborhood is an older residential district and was so quiet for a weekend. This was a welcome respite for our daughters from their hectic jobs and a special time together as a family. We would stay again!

This is a wonderful house near the university. The host is responsive and kind. The house is a cozy place perfect for a family. The house is stocked with everything you could need and a whole closet full of board games and books. I will definitely stay here again.

I am a VRBO host in Santa Barbara and I have stayed at several short term rentals in McMinnville. This is one of the nicest places I have stayed. The house is incredibly well stocked. They thought of everything you might need during your stay. The beds are very comfortable. We were welcomed with snacks and wine. There's a lovely yard with a BBQ. It was too cold for us to enjoy that, but we will be back. The house is easy to find and check in was a breeze.

The neighborhood is a little rundown which made us feel a little unsettled, but it was a quiet and worked out just fine. We were able to garage our car each evening. Everything in the home was very clean and met our expectations. There was an issue with starting the grill but Janet responded immediately and She resolved the problem.

The house was well-appointed - there was nothing we needed that wasn't provided. It was comfortable for our little group and we enjoyed gathering around the island in the kitchen for snacks and a game from the well-supplied games/book closet. The property was very clean. The owner provided quite a bit of info about the town and the area (Willamette Valley wine country) and even provided a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Unfortunately, it was raining so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor space but there were several nice seating areas in the backyard. Overall it was a very pleasant experience for the four of us.

We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable house. It was very centrally located. The kitchen worked well for us and the host graciously left us coffee and treats. It was a good long weekend with wine tasting and enjoying family.

In Summary...This Place is AWESOME..! Home is fully equipped with all necessary dishes, condiments and accessories needed for use in the kitchen. Home was Clean...with Extra Blankets, Pillows...and LOTS of TOWELS..!! Loved the Garage Parking, two separate rear patio decks, large supply of books and games available, separate dining room as well as counter seating. Centrally located in McMinnville, we were 2 blocks from the Linfield University Campus where our Wine Festival was occurring and only around 4-5 blocks from the downtown area. We had requested a stand-alone fan for one of our group, not only was one provided, but there are separate AC Units in each bedroom which sort of nullified the need for a fan. Overall, we all agreed that a repeat stay would be definitely worthwhile.
