Sandia Park, New Mexico
Welcome to my home! It's a special place that I love, and I'm thrilled to share it with you. You'll be surrounded by nature, with the National Forest, a seasonal mountain stream, and plenty of wildlife. At night, the sky is bright with stars. There's so much to do here, like Sandia Ski Area, sledding, biking, and hiking. You can also take a scenic drive to unique mining towns or check out the one-of-a-kind Tinkertown museum.
My house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including radiant heat, a wood stove, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a queen sleeper sofa. I also have a growing selection of movies, books, puzzles, and games for you to enjoy. If you have a furry friend, there's an outside dog pen and dog crates available (just bring your dog's own bedding).
Please note that some parts of the property are not easily accessible for those who have trouble walking on uneven surfaces. If you have any questions about this or anything else, don't hesitate to ask me. I'm here to help!
When you're here, you'll have access to a two-car garage and additional parking, so no need to worry about that. However, if there's significant snow, you won't be able to drive directly in front of the house, but don't worry, I have a sled available to help you bring your things down.
I hope you enjoy your stay here and make some wonderful memories.
Definitely 5 out of 5 stars!!! Absolutely loved the home and area. Lee Ann is a very thoughtful host who really went out of her way to make sure our visit was perfect. Great communication too. Excellent get away !!
The property was perfect for our trip. Even with the ice and snow the heated floors kept your feet and everything else warm. The beds were very comfortable and the large living room space really made our social time nice. No one in our 4 person group had to settle with where to sit. The big couches are great for naps. Everything we needed to cook meals was there at the house. The silverware, plate/bowl, pot/pan assortment was quite impressive. Most important is the owner. Our flight got cancelled last minute due to weather. I sent a message through Vrbo and within minutes I had a response and we got to stay another night. I am truly blown away with how nice the house is and how nice and responsive the owner was. This is the nicest Vrbo in the Albuquerque/ Sandia Area and I can’t wait to stay again.
Lee Anne’s house is spacious, well equipped, and in a perfect spot. Communication was great and we concerned about leaving on our check-out day due to a snowstorm. Lee Anne responded immediately and allowed us to stay an additional night so the roads could clear up. We recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area, we definitely look forward to staying there again!
We stayed here for a quick get away. The house is nice and comfortable with everything you need. Beds are comfortable and everything was clean. We enjoyed the property and ease of getting to places in Albuquerque and Santa Fe.
The home was in the woods and quiet. Loved the radiant heated floors. Very clean home as well.
Home is cozy and spacious at the same time. Stocked with absolutely everything you might need. We felt very welcome and very much at home.
I was the chaperone for a group of Scouts traveling to Philmont by train. Since I had to entertain myself for a week, we decided to come in to Albuquerque station and find a place for us to acclimate to the altitude and easy a home cooked meal. Lee-Ann was WONDERFUL to all of us, including my octogenarian Dad who joined us at the last minute. The house was spotless, the kitchen was beautifully equipped, the beds and couches were comfortable, and the grounds were breathtakingly lovely. Stay here. You really need to stay here.
This was an awesome place to stay! It had everything that was listed. It was fun to stay where there was a forest outside.
Absolutely loved our stay. A very comfortable home away from home!
Everything from the silent radiant heat, quiet dishwasher, gentle wood floors, and quiet neighborhood made this stay so peaceful. Morning coffee while watching the day open was wonderful. Kitchen was fully equipped. Hiking trails nearby and we went there 3 consecutive days. The property was really pretty with lovely stone work. Would definitely stay again.
The house was beautiful and well-equipped with everything perfect for family and small children. The host was very nice and was always fast to respond. We loved this house and would love to come back in a different season to experience it again with new memories and surroundings.
This was truly a perfect getaway! We spent a week at this property and couldn't have asked for a better location. It had everything we needed both inside and out, and Lee Anne checked on us when the weather changed unexpectedly. The house was clean, spacious, and well-stocked. Our two senior dogs had plenty of space to roam and even had kennels and bowls ready when we arrived. Overall, a great experience - many thanks!
We slept well at this large family property tucked away in a neighborhood in the mountains above Albuquerque Super quiet and very homey. Very kid friendly, family friendly and pet friendly. We didn’t have a pet but there is a small outdoor secure dog run. We had multiple family gatherings. Hiking trails nearby were fun and scenic!
My brother, aunt and I took care of our spouses before they passed. Both of their spouses passed away during covid. They haven't taken vacations for years. This was their first experience using an VRBO. They loved it! It was so relaxing and we were able to visit a cousin who lived close by the rental.
Very nice property in an excellent location! House was clean and had ample cooking utensils. Nice outdoor seating and a grill made for a great labor day cookout. No complaints!
Close to sandia crest . We went every morning 24 min drive to the top. Sunrise are great. ....and during day sitting on the deck or upstairs deck or in little backyard forest are priceless. It's very large. The photos do not convey how large and spacious it is. We cooked most days ...we had all we needed ....you must bring your own coffee filters and cofffee....I didn't think about it....was very happy Instacart delivered from Smiths grocery store. ....just need to meet then at top of hill of driveway. Soooooooo cool...the hidden way the house is down the driveway We walked at twilight ...after dinner up the road...so very amazing. Honestly...it made me stay two days extra at a hotel to look for a place to buy in the East Mountain. Very very good if you know someone local to explain some history and tell you the difference of east and west mountain....grateful we had local friends. We had a small women's healing retreat on self care and thus was perfect for us. Our local friends from our Albuquerque chaper of the women's organization Polkadot Powerhouse loved the house and location too. I highly recommend this to anyone. I hope to be back every August. Thank You Lee Ann. Beautiful Feng Shui and decor also.
We loved our stay in this beautifully designed home with splendid forest views. This was our second visit, and we hope to come again. It's a great location, whether to enjoy the garden and home or to use it as a base for exploring Sandia hikes, Albuquerque, or Santa Fe. We really appreciated Lee Anne's hospitality. Thanks for hosting us!
house was very dirty. owner is lazy. Beware if this one!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the 4th of July. No noisy fireworks. All the trees surrounding the property provided lots of shade. The well kept game closet kept the teenagers occupied. The house was clean and well stocked with spices and electrical appliances. We look forward to a return trip!
very good
