This property is peaceful and absolutely beautiful. Brad, was available, kind, and responsive. The space is perfect for an individual, couple, or friends traveling together. It has all the necessary amenities to make for a fun hideaway vacation.
This was such a great place to stay, very cozy and very clean. Brad was super helpful whenever we needed, very short drive to trails and the scenic cedar crest drive. About 5 people stayed here with us and we were very comfortable.
The location was beautiful. Feel like your in the mountains but close to town all ar the same time. The owners live upstairs, which we didnt realize untill we got there, but they are friendly and accommodating and the area where the guest stays is completly self sufficient with its own entrance. Inside it was clean, no weird smells or stains, and the way they decorated was so cute you feel like your in a wood cabin. The tvs are a little dated so i couldn't stream from my phone and they only had apple tv which was ok because i have Amazon prime video and Hulu but if you don't have an account with something on there you won't be able to watch tv. They did have a blue ray player in the living room but not the bedroom. Overall it was an enjoyable stay and could see myself coming back and will be referring friends and family.
The cabin is located near the Cibolo National Forest and even has some hiking trails leading from the property. Dining options were nearby, diverse, plentiful and delicious. Property owner was very helpful and friendly.
This place was absolutely beautiful! The furnishings and decorations were amazing and inviting. It was so comfortable that our family rarely left. It truly was a much needed retreat. The property was beautiful with wonderful hiking and trails, beautiful plants and trees, and wildlife. There were hummingbird feeders on the outdoor living room that I could have watched for hours. This home was like a mountain retreat from the rest of the world. Thank you!
This is a lovely, well-appointed unit in a beautiful setting.
Great!
My husband and I recently visited from Tulsa, OK. The Pine Cone Inn is an excellent getaway that is perfectly located close to Albuquerque, Madrid and Sante Fe. Convenient stores and restaurants are within 4 miles. Nestled in the mountain with hiking trails right outside your door. This location has everything you need including robes, games, and extra blankets. Brad provided several locations for the amenities in the area. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor patio after long days of site seeing and hiking. I would highly recommend The Pine Cone Inn for your next trip!
Great time away, beautiful stay.
It was a fantastic stay at this property. Brad was very communicative and a wonderful host. I would highly recommend a stay here.
We had a fabulous stay at Pine Cone Inn! We loved being in the mountains and away from the city but an easy /2 hour drive to Albuquerque and an hour to Santa Fe. Brad is the best host we’ve ever had (and we’ve used vacation rentals for 18 years). He is so kind and helpful even giving suggestions for groceries and nearby restaurants. Brad and Rick live upstairs on the back side of the house, not something I would usually book, but they’re very quiet and respectful of privacy. It’s so quiet and peaceful and the cabin is cute, cozy and spotless. It has high-quality bed linens and towels and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The lovely outdoor patio was our favorite spot for morning coffee and afternoon R&R. We didn’t want to leave! We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Brad, for everything! (Additional FYIs…there are horses on the property. Yes, sometimes you can smell them. The hot tub is on the owners side of the house. Neither bothered us but good things to know.)
The day before check-in Brad reached out with all the information we needed and answered all our questions right away! GPS took us straight to the cabin no problem ☺️ Upon arriving the cabin was all lit up for us, beautiful, and it was cozy warm and ready for relaxing. ?My husband and I take a week to get away from all the at home distractions so we can put together our business plan for the next 2 years! ? the cabin is perfect size, the owner does live upstairs but his presence was barely noticeable, and all the windows gave a feel of first floor living. ? I loved all the heavy cozy and fuzzy blankets throughout the cabin, and the water pressure in the shower is perfect! ? There are friendly horses on site which just put icing on this wonderful adventure! ? we would absolutely recommend you stay here and if we are ever in the area again we’d be happy to return to Pine Cone Inn!
We loved everything about Pine Tree Inn, from the gorgeous location in the mountains to the availability of everything we could possibly need to an amazing host who was always quick to answer any questions we had!
It was warm with the cozy fire going. What a nice thing to come home to when it was quite chilly out. And the last day with the covering of snow made it seem enchanted! How thoughtful of Brad to order up some snow before we headed home to SE Texas!! The main bedroom was very comfortable. The king size bed was just the thing we needed!! Brad is always responsive to any concerns we might have. Wish I could actually meet him sometime. He seems like such a delightful person.
This well kept rental is a gem at the base of Sandia Peak. As long as you don’t mind having upstairs neighbors (separate entry living space) and are keen on a commute into the city, this is the spot for you to relax and unwind with nature steps away. The king size bed is exceedingly comfortable and the hosts spared no expense providing premium linens. Plenty of space to stretch out and the covered outdoor area made this rental seem especially spacious. We grilled steaks on the fancy grill and loved the cute indoor oven as well. This would be the perfect place for a family of four to stay for a ski vacation if the mountain has plenty of snow.
Impeccably clean and decorated location in quiet area, away from Balloon Fest mayhem. But, close enough to get into it or access any other sites / activities in the area. Brad was a stellar host. His knowledge of the area was invaluable & helped make our trip outstanding.
We really enjoyed the place and hope to return again soon. Thanks, Brad and Rick!!
Overall a pleasant experience. I would certainly consider staying at the property again. Pluses include the outside, covered seating area, large bedroom with sitting area, dining area and living area. The kitchen and bathroom are small but adequate for my wife and me. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working. We enjoyed our stay and felt the pluses significantly out weighed any minuses.
