Colter's Cabin Yellowstone Getaway, Cooke City, MT

The location was fantastic to allow us into the park early in the morning.

Easy to find. Nice location. Had a book laying out the dos and donts, which was nice. Lots of space. Had shampoo, hand soap, washer drier….all the comforts of home.

Great meeting and gathering site for family and friends. Nice location. Clean and cozy facility.

We had a lovely stay at this property. It is close to YNP and Beartooth Pass, and the view from the house is awesome. Everything we needed was at the house, except the groceries which we bought and brought with us. The town is adorable. My kids enjoyed walking down to get coffees and delicious treats from the shops right down the street. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our second stay here with family and friends from June 5-9. The location and property are the perfect getaway to Yellowstone for us. The house is well stocked for your every need and within walking distance to restaurants, gas stations and souvenir shopping. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck and the side yard for Happy Hour. We hope to be back sooner than later. Thank you Lindsey and Travis!

My husband and I met two other couples and one 6 year old. The cabin was the perfect fit for our crew. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked and the proximity to the park and outdoor space added the perfect elements to our stay. We were able to get in and out of the park easily and really maximize our time together instead of spending time in traffic to get in and out of the park. The Hemingway bar and museum in Silver Gate was also a great find! We will book this place again next year!

We enjoyed our stay at Colter’s cabin. It was in a great spot in reference to Yellowstone. It had everything we needed in the kitchen for dinners and plenty of linens for our big family. The host was quick to respond to any questions. We loved the fire pit out back.

The house itself was perfect for our group of four anglers. The only issue was how to deal with trash. The house rules said to take trash to the transfer station in Cooke City which is only open on certain days and after 12 noon. That's difficult for anglers who are away from Cooke City all day. There needs to be another option for the trash. Otherwise, the house was perfect!

Great launch pad to see wildlife in the Lamar Valley

Very nice clean everything that was expected

Cabin was perfect for our group of 8. We came to Yellowstone to hike and look for wildlife. The cabin was very close to the Northeast entrance of the park and the Lamar Valley which is known for wildlife. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and very well appointed. We loved the view of the mountains from the front deck. Excellent stay and would love to come back some day.

Cozy cabin, minutes from the park. Cooke city is a great mountain town, witha good selection of restaurants, stores and supplies.

Nice to be close to shopping and eating. Cabin was stocked well. The double bed in the bedroom closest to the kitchen was very uncomfortable.

This is the best stocked property I have ever stayed in. Kitchen has everything. There is plenty of paper products. Even though it is on the main street, it was very quiet while we were there.

The cabin was great for our family. We went into the park every day and saw so many animals.

Cabin was very cozy and comfortable. We had plenty of room for 2 couples with 2 bedrooms to spare. It was nice to come back to a warm house after full days out, make our own meals and relax, especially since we had snow and rain for much of our stay. Location is perfect for accessing the northeastern part of the park. I would definitely stay there again if plans permit.
