This is a perfect spot for home base when visiting Palisade for all the yummy peaches, and other foods. Glad we selected for our girls trip!
Charming, Great location! Definitely recommend staying here.
This was the perfect place for our girls (mom) weekend getaway. The Casita was clean and the perfect size. Breakfast was fantastic. With in walking distance from town but still a quiet stay and right by the River! Thank you for the great experience
The property is amazing. Great location. Breakfast was delicious and the owners are great to deal with.
We loved our stay at this little Casita. It says bed and breakfast, but it was very private, we never saw the occupant of the main house. The breakfast I thought was simple and put a lot of effort into making something simple very fun and very tasty. The beds were comfy, but the floors were pretty dirty. You also need to be okay with 3 dogs next store, one of which barked for about 30 minutes at 6:30am. The private walk way to the river was a great place to sit and relax.
We came to Palisade for a friends wedding. We didn’t have a car but for our stay it was not needed. The location is a short walk to town where we had everything we needed. Tami and Sean were great and were there if we needed them for anything. This place is perfect and would stay again when we come back!
The thin toilet paper is less than desired,
We had a wonderful stay. We came to town to check out wine country but got so much more! The place backs to the river and there’s a great area carved out there to just sit and relax. With just a short walk to downtown, we were able to check out the Farmers Market over the weekend and stop in to all of the other shops in town. Very quiet but close to everything, we’ll definitely be back!
This little slice of heaven is amazing and perfect for the romantic getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this VRBO. It is by the river (which is magnificent), discovering Palisade wineries and restaurants, and mingling with the very friendly residents of this small town. We will be back!
The property was super cute and clean. Location was perfect and everything is walkable. Breakfast everyday was delicious. Dogs were nice to interact with. Would definitely stay again.
My friend and I came over to Palisade from Denver for the Bluegrass and Roots Festival. Tammy and Sean were very accommodating with our breakfast requests and both days we had a lovely meal with tea on the porch. The beds were so comfortable, I havent slept that well in ages. We're both planning to relocate to the Grand Valley in the next two years. In the meantime this will be our home away from home! We loved stayimg here and will be back in the fall!
Great little spot in Palisade. Dog friendly, owners were very kind but also gave us plenty of privacy. Easy to find & house was just as expected based on the listing!
24 hours in paradise. We loved the porch, sitting outside and watching the birds, taking in the gorgeous view, and enjoyed the peacefulness of the cottage.
Great location with access to the river and walking distance into the town of Palisade.
Everything we needed as advertised. Beautiful spot, accomodations perfect. Quiet, peaceful. Delicious breakfast.
We emailed the owner several times starting a week before our stay to let them know our dog wouldn't be joining us after all and we wondered if they could refund the pet fee. No reply to 3 emails over 7 days including one that was never acknowledged requesting dairy free options/dairy on the side for one of our group. The breakfast wasn't for us- it was similar everyday- three pastries, three juices, three yogurts, sometimes granola, the last day two giant cinnamon rolls and a pop tart. On the upside the beds were very comfortable, layout functional for 2 adults and 1-2 kids (maybe a little tight for 4 adults). Hot tub and proximity to downtown and river were great. Probably best for shorter stays as mini fridge and microwave limit what you can self cater. A toaster or toaster oven would be a great addition.
My stay was wonderful and cozy. I loved getting to enjoy the hot tub and the views. Will definitely be back!
A great property along the river. Very clean and cozy inside. Very close to town and vineyards.
This is the place to stay in Palisades! The casita is adorable and well stocked. It’s close to town and has a beautiful spot to relax on the river. Hosts are fantastic and serve an awesome breakfast!
We enjoyed the area of the rental and town of Palisade very much! We were very close to the Colorado River it was beautiful and very calming. Breakfast served each morning early and very nice! Beds were nice and comfortable! Our problem was the floors were not clean (dog hair, we don't have a dog). The bathroom needed more cleaning as well. My suggestion for future would be better lighting in the evening (only ceiling lighting now) a lamp or two. And mirrors in the bedrooms (mirror only in bathroom). These are minor but things we would have liked.
The River B&B, was everything it advertised and more. Peaceful, comfortable and relaxing. I am looking forward to staying here again.
It was absolutely perfect. Stunning views. Super clean and wonderfully maintained. We will definitely stay here again.
The house is very comfortable. The only suggestion I have is better quality toilet paper.
Easy check in
Definitely lived up to and surpassed all expectations!!
This house is beautiful, very crisp and clean. The kitchen has a coffee maker and microwave, but all the needed ancillary kitchens items are available. I loved the front deck views and atmosphere, but most of all sitting down by the river was fabulous! Loved the way they did breakfast for us, they have insulted containers on the front steps in which they put the breakfast in, brilliant! I would definitely stay there again! Wish more time allowed for a soak in the hot tub.
Within walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, and shops. We enjoyed the brewery. Easy access to I 70. Great scenery from the porch.
