Stayed Oct 2, 2025Great property, however had some minor issues.1. There was a mouse in the kitchen2. Downstairs shower did not drain well, water backed up.3. TV did not work well, trouble connecting to internet.

Stayed Jun 19, 2025We loved our stay at Colle - beautiful property and the pool was a highlight. We hiked the Saunders-Monticello path every morning around the corner, took the kids for fresh peaches at Carter's Mountain and walked across the street to Jefferson vineyards for wine & dinner one night. Despite the expansive property and privacy, you're still close to everything in C'ville. The many bedrooms and bathrooms worked well for our group. Kitchen was well stocked. FYI there is no washer/dryer in the house :)

Stayed Dec 27, 2024This is a beautful historic home in the heart of Virginia Wine Country. The home suited our needs perfectly and the management company was responsive and great to work with. A few things to know if you book: 1) although the primary suite has a bathroom, there's not a shower -- only a tub. 2) as soon as you arrive, check to be sure the hot water is working. We didn't have hot water. The management company was great to work with, but it took several hours to get the issue resolved. 3) all the beds were comfortable except one in the ground floor front bedroom.

Stayed Aug 8, 2024Colle is a beautiful home in a lovely setting. The house accommodated our our family well -- 6 adults and 2 young children. The pool was a highlight. Proximity to Charlottesville was a plus.

Stayed Nov 10, 2023Our extended family stayed together in this house for a weekend. Large setup with lots of bedrooms worked well. The house is an old Virginia farmhouse but has been renovated over the years. Beautiful location just outside Cville by Monticello and Jefferson Vineyards. It's not fancy, but served our needs perfectly. Would stay there again!

Stayed Sep 14, 2023The Colle house was perfect for our group of friends. We were able to relax in quiet comfort when we wanted, and were close enough to pop into town for a concert with ease. Highly recommend.

Stayed Jun 8, 2023We had such a nice stay at the Colle house! The property is so beautiful, spacious and private. It had everything we needed and was conveniently located. We especially loved the pool. Already wanting to plan our next stay!
