Stayed Apr 8, 2025An outstanding garden home in old Beaune with easy walking distance to town. Beautifully decorated and a wonderful front garden with privacy fence and plenty of seating. Owner is fabulous and meets you for orientation and gives tons of advice about the area. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Beaune. A true gem!

Stayed Oct 12, 2024Bob met us at the place, showed us everything which we needed to know. He was lovely and quite helpful. The upstairs is very nice, however a tight fit if you are taller than 6 feet. The floor level is quite nice and the kitchen is very capable. We loved the location, very close to the inner city. I highly recommend staying here and would love to stay again.

Stayed Sep 8, 2022This property was more than we could ask for. It is located across from the city walls, a 7-minute walk to the center of town, and provides a wonderful place to park the car, relax and enjoy. What we saw in the listing and read in the description was spot on. There was more space than we needed, given the two floors. Nevertheless, we could spread out and feel at home. Very comfortable.

Stayed May 30, 2022The house was very true to photographs. We were only 2 people, so really only used the main floor. The upstairs bedroom would be suitable for children. While charming, the downstairs cellar was musty. I have severe mold allergies, therefore the cellar ended up being a negative for me. The weather was good while we were there so we were able to leave the doors and windows open so the house stayed ventilated. The functional shutters were amazing for this. The garden was very pleasant for our at home meals.

Stayed Apr 17, 2022A friend and i stayed here during 5 days visiting small domaines in Burgundy. Arranged on three levels with two twin beds and separate bath upstairs. The main level has a master bedroom and toilet and bath beside the kitchen, also on that level. The lower level, reached by a spiral stair, includes a dining area and sitting area. The appointments were top drawer. We chose to have breakfast beside the kitchen and main meals on the patio just outside the front door. We hope you enjoy your stay as much we did.

Stayed Oct 17, 2019Bob was very responsive and accommodating in all aspects of our booking and stay. The house is beautiful as is the garden - as Bob notes very well equipped and the common areas are great. I think the house is ideal for a family of four travelling together - two adults and two kids. The upper bedroom was very tricky for two men over 6 feet tall to navigate - the slope of the ceiling (you can see it in the pictures) was quite steep, and we could only stand up straight at the one side of the room. We both ended up banging our heads trying to navigate it. The shower upstairs is also very tiny and so we all ended up using the gorgeous shower downstairs. The main floor bedroom and common areas are perfect though - we had a great time sitting around the living room drinking wine! Location is wonderful!

Stayed Sep 9, 2019Excellent location, easy to find with just a five minute walk to town centre where their is no shortage of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Very good greet and meet by the owner who took us through the house workings etc. Traditional, quirky and importantly modern when it comes to items such as Bathrooms, showers, kitchen etc. There are very good instruction books on how things worked/local knowledge of the area, the best we’ve seen for some time. There was also a welcome pack of basic groceries and bottle of wine for us. Most appreciated after a long drive. The garden is a delight to sit out in and even better for summer evening dining. Secure parking on the property with electric gates is a real bonus so you don’t have to worry about your car Beaune, indeed the Burgundy region is lovely to explore and this is a good base point. The Market is on Saturday and not to be missed. A smaller market is held on Wednesdays We also recommend visiting the Hospice de Beaune and Notre Dame Cathedral whilst in Beaune All in all a very delightful stress free week
