Coastal Cutie | Steps to Beach + Pool Access

I can tell the owners put a lot of effort into making this place, feel like a beachy getaway. The only complaints we have is that the entertainment such as games and toys for the family are a bit outdated. Additionally, the kitchenware is also outdated and has been used up. There’s a lot of Teflon pans that were scratched and that could be harmful. We did find three bedbugs in a guest bedroom and a couple small spiders along the floors.

Our Coastal Cutie weekend experience. At bedtime we found bugs on the bunk beds, (identified as bed bugs from an iPhone app). I called the after-hours number for Silver Sands Rental. The gentleman I spoke with was very nice but not helpful, he asked me to send photos of the bugs. I sent the photos and we packed everything up and left. I called Silver Sands the next morning and spoke with Diane. I was told maintenance was going to check out the property and they would let me know what they found. After several hours, she called to tell me they tore the bed down and nothing was found. I reminded her I had photos of the bed bugs on the bunk beds. She then said, “Oh, I will have them check the bunk room.” My thought was, why had ALL rooms not been checked. Diane never called back to confirm the bugs or apologize, I just received an email saying I would receive a refund 5 – 10 days later. Silver Sands showed very poor customer service for the trouble and inconvenience we experienced because of the bed bugs. Vrbo was great in their effort to help resolve the issue. They refunded their service fees immediately.

Spacious layout...love the two king bedrooms. Handy location. Plan to rent again in the spring when I put another fishing trip together.

A tropical storm formed off the coast of the property location which affected our travel plans and the climate conditions. I’d like a refund.

The house was very nice. The cellular service was horrible for the area making it hard to download the information to get into the house. Had to call the phone number I had and get through automated answering service before speaking to anyone. (Just the way the world is heading I guess) Overall the location was great, house was great

Very comfortable property, across from pool and good beach access. Enjoyed our relaxing visit.

Although small it was a great size for us. Like that master is separate from Secondary bedrooms. Located across from the pools/hot tub. Quick walk or cart ride to boardwalk to go in beach. Bring all laundry pods, condiments etc. Be sure to ask if you want to use the golf cart. You have to submit insurance etc to their office in Port A.

My family stayed here over Labor Day weekend and really enjoyed it despite the rainy weather! The house was very comfortable for my husband and I, our dog, and our two small kids. I was initially a little worried booking this because of some older reviews about it not being very clean- I didn't find any issue with the cleanliness. The neighborhood was very nice and only about a 5 minute golf cart ride from the beach. We did not make it to the pool so I cannot speak to the quality, but it was very close to the home. My only complaints are related to some of the amenities of the home. The golf cart could really use an upgrade- we didn't need to go far so it wasn't a big deal but it was difficult to start most times and it was pretty clear we had the worst golf cart around! The coffee maker, ice maker, and vacuum also did not work- These are all very important for a beach vacation so I would suggest replacing them! Overall great stay- I would stay again with the knowledge these items were upgraded.
