Cleo in the Village

Lovely place with every amenity. So so nice to have fully stocked coffee/tea for the morning after a very late night arrival!Fabulous Laguna Beach location.

Mo and Vanessa are the consummate hosts. Every need was anticipated. Communication was incredible; I’ve never had this level of clarity and proactive messaging from a host. The house accommodated 10 adults, not just for sleeping but for quiet time, together time, cooking and just hanging out. Bathrooms were incredibly well stocked, as was the kitchen. A grocery store is right across the street, so after a peek at the ocean and a deep breath of fresh salty air, take a quick walk over there, to the beach or to downtown Laguna. We will be back at this lovely home.

Our stay was fantastic, it couldn’t have been any better! The home has everything needed for a wonderful beach vacation. The location is super convenient. Mo is an exceptional host that goes above and beyond to make the stay memorable and easy. All ten in our party would be thrilled to have a chance to return someday!

For my 80th birthday, I rented this amazing large house on Cleo St. in Laguna Beach for myself and 7 friends. Mo was an amazing host, offering early check-in and late check-out. He was extremely kind and helpful at all stages of the process. The location is amazing -- in downtown Laguna, across from Ralph's grocery store and 2 blocks from the beach. The house is big enough that each of the 8 of us got our own bed. There were 2 living rooms, 5 bedrooms, multiple outdoor spaces and a large well-stocked kitchen. There were 3 bathrooms, though only 2 had showers. It was a magical time and I will stay here again with my large family.

Spent a long weekend at the beach. Great location with short walks to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Hosts are great and really ensure you have everything you need. We highly recommend.

Mo was a great host. He made sure we had everything we needed. He was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our family vacation since we were so close to the beach it made it easy to go back and forth for nappping kids. We definitely recommend staying here!

Cleo in the Village is a great find. We were a three family group of 10 - adults and kids - in Laguna Beach for a larger group family reunion. The house is perfectly setup to give each of us either a quiet spot to relax or a communal area to chat and share meals. It is incredibly well stocked with beach toys and equipment. The kids got great use out of the boogie boards and beach toys and the adults appreciated the beach chairs and umbrellas. Mo is the host and is attentive and helpful. He and his family share a courtyard by the house and he is always available. The house is unbelievably well stocked with water and coffee, tea etc. and a grocery store is literally steps away. Top class, thanks Mo! You helped make our visit to Laguna Beach and the reunion memorable.

Overall the house was better than expected. So beautiful and the location was perfect!!! Will definitely be back! Mo was so welcoming and made our stay very nice.

We had a lovely time at Cleo St. we enjoyed being without a car, walking 20min to town, a couple blocks to the beach, or taking the trolley. The host, Mo, was absolutely hospitable and pleasant. Beach towels, beach toys, boogie boards, and toiletries were provided and appreciated. The house was great for a couple small families with kids. We took advantage of having grocery, a great breakfast spot, and taco spot a block away. we hope to return!

Our Family has vacationed in Laguna for years. This was our first time staying here in this cottage and we can’t wait to come back! The host was wonderful and the home was just perfect for our needs. Clean & spacious Plus we loved that we could walk right across the street to the grocery store.
