Stayed Apr 14, 2022We enjoyed staying at this property. It was very clean, had all the essential things, and was a comfortable size for our family. The kitchen was bright and functional. The coffee was great! Arrival communication was a struggle, but our stay went very smoothly after we gained access. We really appreciated the clothes drying rack in the closet after a visit to the local laundromat and nearby aquatic center.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025Great stay! The property is really nice and cozy in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of amenities. We all had plenty of room. There’s a composting bucket and there’s even a small cooler and ice packs for the cooler. Nice little touches for convenience. Place is very close to Safeway and Walmart and plenty of other stores. We didn’t get to use the outdoor space but it’s really nice! Absolutely recommend.

Stayed Jun 12, 2025Great property and warm home. The location was only 15 minutes to Mesa Verde National Park and about 45 minutes to Durango. There is a great coffee drive through just up the street and we had a great dinner at a local restaurant. I would recommend and definitely stay here again.

Stayed Dec 27, 2024Originally, I was really excited about staying here, I thought it was what we needed. We travel often and take our kids with us ages 13-18 and they are all very well behaved. We encountered the host two times outside the property, which has never happened in our years of travel. He greeted us and counted our kids to make sure we were charged for them. We intended on paying for them, of course. We should've read the description thoroughly because we didn't realize the host lived in the driveway, which we were not comfortable with. The property is clean, amenities good, host was friendly enough, but the place is not for us.

Stayed Nov 2, 2024We had a wonderful stay at David's place. The house had absolutely everything we needed and we felt immediately at home. David was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed over our stay. The house was perfect for our monthly getaway: a lot of space, good internet and very comfortable. We enjoyed the proximity with many national and state parks ( lots to do within a 3h drive!). The city of Cortez is big enough to offer some diversity of restaurants, there is a huge park next to the house to take a walk and Mesa Verde and the Sand Canyon are half an hour away. Definitely recommend!

Stayed Jul 8, 2024Comfortable place that met our needs. We had no issues with Communication with the owner. We were caught off guard when we came in the second night and found out that he stayed there on the property in a camper right outside the garage. We were never bothered by him but just wanted to make sure to be aware of this. Overall a good place to stay when you are traveling to see mesa Verda national park.
