A large downstairs bedroom has twin beds with an attached full bath. The sunroom and upstairs study look out to Nautilus Island and provide ideal spaces for curling up with a book—or a laptop for remote work. Amenities include an outdoor propane grill, two fireplaces, washer/dryer, dishwasher, stove, as well as a two-car garage and ample parking in two driveways.

Activities
Stroll or bike to town for a dockside lobster roll or an ice cream and visit the town’s many historic sites, including The Wilson Museum and the Dyce’s Head lighthouse. Kayaks (not included) can be launched from the beach; bicycle rentals are available in town, and golf and tennis are also nearby. Hike in the Witherle Woods, enjoy boating and kayaking tours, as well as local tours given by the Castine Historical Society. Blue Hill, Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Camden, Belfast, and Searsport are all easy day or afternoon trips from this delightful spot. Bicycles are available to rent in town.

The house was great, incredible view and easy access to little beach. Lots of space and different areas to hang out in, perfect for a large group. Would definitely stay again

We were looking for a place to accommodate 12 people comfortably, be with in an hour of an airport for those of us flying in from CO, be close enough to Acadia for a couple day trips, be on or close to the water and be within walking distance to a town. This checked all the boxes and did not disappoint. We brought our kayaks, bikes, volleyball/badminton. We really enjoyed our walks around town, sunset walks to the trail at the Dyce's Head lighthouse and sunrise paddles. We also had a great afternoon at the beach at Wadsworth Cove. The house had plenty of room for everyone, and you could always find a quiet place to read or relax, especially on one of the beautiful porches. We really appreciated having soaps, linens, towels (even beach towels),paper goods and things like plastic wrap, foil and sandwich bags supplied. Jen was very responsive and went above and beyond, even checking in during the week to be sure all was well. Very grateful to have found such a gem.

Loved loved this home. It was furnished beautifully, but also had anything you could possibly need for a vacation. It was easy walking distance to town, even though town is very small. Wasn't sure if 5 grandchildren (high school and college) would enjoy, but they are ready to return. Thanks to the owner

We had a wonderful stay here. Our family of six and varying nannies and grandparents spent three wonderful weeks here. The view truly cannot be described, and the house was cozily outfitted for everything. The owners were communicative and helpful, and check-in and check-out were a breeze. Highly recommended!

All ten of us loved this spacious, well appointed estate. There are spectacular views in every direction. My husband and I are senior citizens and we enjoyed the large bedroom with an adjoining bath on the first floor.

The home was beautiful with so much space. The furnishings were wonderful! They even had all the tools for us to use when we made lobsters at home! Walking distance to downtown. Highly recommend!

What a location! This classic Maine home with expansive lawn and breach access was great for our family vacation. We loved walking into town, watching boats and exploring the back shore.

Very good communication with owners. View and location cannot be beat. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. Fully stocked with anything you would need minus your own groceries. Home is older but that is it’s charm. House cleaning could do a bit better job on the easy stuff like under beds, and moving things to clean around more thoroughly. Owners are aware of issues that come with older homes and are working to address those. Our family consensus is we would stay here again.
