Castine is the most peaceful town I've been to. This house is well situated along the water. It is a beautiful setting, being able to watch the sailboats traverse in the water.

Lovely spot, great host. I think this is my 5th time renting one of Janet's houses and each time has been a great experience. While it might be too quiet and out of the way for some people, Castine is a lovely harbor town with friendly people and incredible views that overlook Penobscot Bay. I love it there.

Castine is a lovely seaside town and we enjoyed walking all throughout. Very convenient location to everything including lots of fun 4th of July festivities. We worked remotely and had no issues with internet. Cooked a few meals and had everything we needed including brand new grill that worked perfectly along with all grill-related utensils. Only concern for a tall person was one short doorway but we hung a hangar to remind and it we got along just fine!
