Chetola 4BR Luxury House; Pool, Fitness Center, Walk to Town, Adjoin Nat'l Park

This lovely home was fully equipped with everything you need! Lovely setting and comfortable spaces. Kids loved the treehouse!

It was our third annual stay with my entire family and kids! We will keep coming back :)

We enjoyed Chetola's indoor pool and hot tub!

The house is spacious, but outdated. Water leaks in windows and house has a musty cat urine smell. I never received the key code to unlock the door and the host's phone number on the website was a non working number. Had to contact customer service and wait for them to connect with the homeowner. Recommendations are to repair leaks, replace dirty carpet, king bed in main level primary suite and 2-ply toilet paper.

We had a wonderful weekend in Blowing Rock. We loved the house and the surrounding area-the walking trails, spa and shops. The house was well appointed with lots of extras including tissues, q-tips, and cleaning products. The owners do need to upgrade the bedroom pillows, other than that, absolutely no complaints. We will definitely go back!

Our host, Maria, was very attentive to all communication before and during our stay. We were pleased with the roominess and comfort of the rooms that accommodated our extended family of 10. Unfortunately, we experienced rain rather than snow but everyone enjoyed our time at this lovely home!

The house was very clean and attractive. The kids loved having the ping pong table and games. We all enjoyed the fire pit outside. Everything we needed was there.

A beautiful mountain home. Lovely, spacious gathering areas with fun mountain decor. Our family particularly enjoyed the large family dining table and the cabinets filled with family games. Maria (host) was responsive and made arrival and departure easy and welcoming.

Would recommend this property. Conversation with owner was smooth with quick follow up! Had a group trip with college friends and had adequate space for all 7 of us. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home - great space for 3 couples. Kitchen wonderfully stocked and LOVED the heated seats in the bathroom - :) Great fire pit area outside - plenty of firewood, which is great since we had a fire every night!Host was very responsive! Very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend.

Great home....everything you could need in the way of kitchen and every day essentials. The ping pong table was great fun. Very mountainy decor but very homey too. The only downside is the driveway. Could trim back some of the shrubbery for easier access and to eliminate scratches on vehicles. We had a great stay! Wish we could have stayed one more day. Would love to come back!

Home was clean and had many helpful gadgets. It is a close car ride into downtown.

Nice mountain home on the Chetola property. Appeared to be very family friendly however we are older women so didn’t apply. The home is not ADA accessible, however this was not a request of our group it would have been helpful. Communication with Maria was very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as advertised.We would definitely recommend and hope to return to property on our next trip to Blowing Rock.

The home was beautiful and very well located. It felt very clean and well equipped. We were able to enjoy some of the resort amenities and it’s a short drive to downtown Blowing Rock.

This house met all of our expectations. It was warm and cosy and BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED. I especially appreciated the fact that the kitchen was well designed and well stocked with almost every kitchen item you would need. The bathrooms were just perfect, and we especially enjoyed the warm toliet seats. I hope we can rent this house again.

The house is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay but the carpet needs replaced as the living room carpet smelled like the fireplace smoke. I appreciated the toilet seat warmer but the bath towels need replaced.

The house did not disappoint. It was perfect for our son’s graduation weekend. Loved the location and the house had everything we needed.

We had a blast at the house! 4 comfy bedrooms and 5 spacious bathrooms plus a big, beautiful living room for hanging out and catching up/playing games. I just can't recommend this place enough for your next friends or family gathering! The setting is just gorgeous, and everything about the place is comfy and inviting!

This is such a beautiful property. Plenty of room for our crew of 5 adults, 2 teens and 5 little boys under age 4! Everything was amazing; location, activities, comfort, beauty, scenery. We all agreed that we didn't want to leave.

We enjoyed staying here for the second year in a row. Hoping to make it an annual event.

This house was everything we hoped for and more! The owners were easy to communicate with and accommodating about our weather concerns. The layout was perfect for 4 couples who like to cook, and the proximity to trails was wonderful as it snowed and we could cross-country ski. The house was well equipped and lovely. We would LOVE to come back when it's not 4 degrees outside!

Great location and had everything we needed

Great location! Convenient to downtown Blowing Rock and Appalachian Mountain. The house was big but cozy! The large windows gave you views of the outdoors. Each bedroom had its own bath. All the beds were comfy and bathrooms were nice! The kitchen was large and perfect for cooking together. Overall it was perfect! We all loved it!

The house and property were nothing short of amazing! The house provided such a warm and comfortable feeling, and the hosts were very easy to communicate with and always responsive. We would definitely look to stay there whenever we visit Blowing Rock in the future.

Another great stay at this house! It is our second winter family vacation here, and we had a blast with our three-year-old in the snow! We will be back again.

We had a great stay over Christmas and it even snowed!!! Clean and comfortable for our family of 6. Even grandma managed the few steps into the house. The main floor bedroom was perfect for her with a walk in shower. The driveway was a little tricky but we managed. House manager was very responsive. Would rent again

House very well equipped, close to everything, fire pit, trails close by, and ping pong. Out family had a wonderful time!

Home was in an excellent location. Lots of walkable places to take in. The house lay out was perfect for my family of 10. Also, the best equipped with everything you need and more. A big plus to be able to use the resort’s facilities.

A nice house, well maintained. Smaller than envisioned from the pictures. The driveway is tricky, and steps make getting in and out of the property not senior friendly. The view out the large windows is woods with condos or apartments behind them. Nice owner. Weather wasn't very cooperative, but still had a great reunion with old friends and enjoyed some sightseeing, shopping, and wonderful meals in town.

Nicely furnished with all amenities needed. Very clean, wonderful sheets and linens and loved that spices, etc were there for the using. This always matters to us as we fly in and are limited in what we can bring. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and rockers every evening. The only challenge for us was turning around in the lower drive with our large SUV.....but we managed! Beautiful resort! Such a great location for extended walks. Thanks for the use of your home :-)

My fiancée and I as well as our families all piled into this lovely home within the Chetola resort. It was super cozy with plenty of room for al 8 of us (three couples and two teens). Beautiful decks around the home with lots of chairs to sit in. Beautiful modern baths for every room and large family room. The big feature for us was the large dinning table off the kitchen we could all gather for a big meal. Our only grip was the WiFi; everyone immediately wants to hook to the WiFi with their phones and the service is quite bad, like unusable. Big house full of people especially kids…Need some service! All in all was a wonderful experience.

This was a honeymoon/family reunion trip for my husband, myself, and our 5 grown children. The house was completely stocked with everything we needed for sleeping, cooking, and relaxing, with privacy for everyone. I believe the listing mentioned having 3.5 baths, but there were actually 5 full baths. The beds were comfortable and the location was perfect. We love the Chetola resort area, and it's quieter than staying in the downtown area. But still only a 5 minute drive to get downtown or to the grocery store. A 10 minute drive to Boone restaurants. We saw lots of deer and went on hikes directly from the house to the Apple Barn, Bass Lake, and Maze trail. Then we took the Glen Burney Falls hike from downtown Blowing Rock. My family had a wonderful time here and would stay again.

Nice stay in the NC mountains. The property is very nice and in a very nice, quiet neighborhood just a couple of minutes from town.

Loved the huge windows and treehouse feeling. Well-stocked kitchen. Grandkids in the group enjoyed the pool and kayaking. Nice location close to hiking trails. Overall, had a wonderful time! Just a couple of suggestions: Pictures in listing are accurate but should show the STEEP downward drive.Three vehicles will fit, but getting turned around to exit is really tight. Guests should know this before booking. The only other minus was lack of ability to control the AC on the lower level. It was uncomfortably cold on that level (stayed in July). Those sleeping in those bedrooms did all their showering in the main or upper level baths, and the second living area was too uncomfortable to be used. Temperature on the main and upper level was fine.
