Stayed Oct 3, 2025Everything was spot on, just missing soap in the showers. Such a lovely place and the neighborhood deer seemed to be posing fir photos! Made some great memories with the family as well as seen shooting stars and a rainbow all in less than 24 hours!

Stayed Aug 28, 2025Clean house conveniently located in La Veta, easy walking around town. The two larger rooms with queen beds are on the main floor. The rest are in an open floor plan upstairs. If traveling with elderly or disabled, the stairs and showers may be a challenge. Easy place for the family to hang out, with cards and other games available. Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed Aug 8, 2025The house was perfect for the family, cute and clean. The kids had the upstairs to themselves. Great location, walking distance to downtown. Pictures in the ad show empty space to the side of home, was excited the kids could play ball, run around. The area was fenced off with a poor chain link fence. The smell from the old jeep in the garage was overwhelming when you opened the door to the garage to access the back yard. Had to wash the dishes before use as they were dirty and the kitchen was very unorganized, the grill was VERY dirty, had to empty the grease, which was caked on and three inches deep, was a fire hazard. Should have taken a picture of the dog poop in the front yard. The water smelled horrible, like a musty cellar. The town made our trip, Charlie's Country Store and great fishing!

Stayed Jun 28, 2024We had a great time. The area is beautiful; there was a great view in all directions. Perfect place to stay for a golf trip. The house itself is incredible for a weekend getaway. We wish we would have been able to stay longer!
