Mil Suite-1-bedroom cottage with surrounding mountain views

Cozy, clean and comfortable.

Very quiet and clean. Modest kitchen but everything that you would need for short stay. Close to Main Street.

We would recommend this guest suite to everyone visiting La Veta. The hosts are great at communicating and the facility is beyond what we expected. The photos don't do it justice and the kitchenette has anything you could desire...dishes, pans, coffee and coffee maker, etc. We will definitely stay here again when in La Veta. And the price is much more than reasonable.

Cozy little spot in a warm and inviting little town. Looking for an intimate getaway while visiting La Veta. This is the spot for you. A cozy 1 bedroom with kitchenette. We will book this place again if available on our next visit to the La Veta and the Spanish Peaks area.Hosts are great and are easily reached if you have any questions or concerns.

The apartment had everything we needed for a nice stay.

We stay with Keri regularly when we’re in La Veta and it’s always perfect for our needs. They’ve done some wonderful upgrades that make the place even more homey.

Keri was very responsive, guest house was easy to locate and it had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Appreciated the fridge, hot plate, and kitchen furnishings for simple cooked meals. Bed was very comfortable and the mini-split kept the bedroom a nice sleeping temperature while it was cold outside. Thanks for a comfortable stay…..Will definitely stay again.

Kerri is a wonderful host and promptly communicates with her guests. The property is clean and very cute with personal touches. This is the second time staying at this property.

clean and convienient to town

We stayed in the MIL suite for two nights. Using it for a jumping off point for visits to the Cuchara Ski area and the Great Sand Dunes. The place was comfortable a spotless! Would highly recommend!

Perfect location for our stay. This adorable suite was well-appointed with everything we needed. Bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was awesome! The property owner was SO friendly and very easy to get ahold of. Definitely recommend!

This suite was the perfect stay for us travelling to LaVeta to hike and explore the Spanish Peaks wilderness. The suite was clean, comfortable and quiet. Nicely furnished. The little amenities of stocked coffee and breakfast food was greatly appreciated to start our day. The suite is located about 4 blocks to great restaurant and stores on the main street. The welcome book was helpful and gave us ideas and information of the town and area. Loved walking around the neighborhood and seeing all the town deer. Highly recommend and would stay again.

The MIL suite was absolutely perfect. It was clean, homely, and close to Main Street La Veta. The host was accommodating to all of our needs! We’d definitely stay again.

Accomadations and service were fine. Weather was great. We went to the Monte Visit area to see the cranes migrating through the area.

The host was very lovely, kind and helpful. It was perfect, peaceful and super clean. The views of the mountains were beautiful! I would love to stay again if I'm ever in the area.

Cute place with a great host in a wonderful little town! We really enjoyed our short getaway.

We enjoyed the clean, nicely decorated and stocked place. The snacks, coffee, and water were all a nice bonus.

It's a small and nice place. It was a little cold since the mini-split was in the bedroom (heated only that room) and the portable unit didn't work, but I tend to run hot so it wasn't a big deal. Perfect place if you need peace and quiet.

Loved the decorations and the bed was so very comfortable! Looking forward to future stay!
