Overall really cute and spacious ! But there are some broken appliances and amenities that are not super accurate . Also if you have kids , be careful of the river , it is a steep drop . It is not gated and has no warning . But you should be watching your kids anyways if you’re in a new place .

Home is right off of HWY 26, no covers on the front room windows so you can hear and see traffic. The “working” fireplace filled the home with smoke so do not use either fireplace. Only one large burner worked on the stove and Crockpot did not work, bring your own. I was contacted on the second morning stating I owed a pet fee since I had pets with me, despite having them on my reservation. This means we were being watched on ring camera which is just odd, especially since the hot tub is in view. A weekend celebration with friends turned into a stressful situation. Check in out 5pm, check out 10am gives less than 48 hours making a pricey experience. The home is older and has a lot of potential. We were cold and couldn’t get the heat to stay at temp due to a scheduled thermostat. Ping pong in garage was not used because no space heater and garage was freezing.

The house was spacious, very clean, location on the river was lovely, appreciated all the electrical outlets, and our hosts Kaila and her husband were outstanding. They responded promptly and helpfully to our questions and requests, both pre-visit and during. We had a minor issue and not only did they patiently explain how the fixture worked, their housekeeper came over to double check that it wasn’t a bigger issue. All interactions were warm, gracious, and respectful. Be prepared though — there was no Saran wrap or storage containers for food. We donated ours, but I don't think those items are regularly stocked. I would also agree with what others have said, however. The house is in need of some TLC. To be fair, it looks like they’re making improvements a little at a time. Overall, we had a great visit and would definitely go back.

Nice very quiet neighborhood, even though it sits just off the highway. House is an older home but was very clean. Good response time to our inquiries. Bedrooms and bathrooms were good size. It was nice to have two living areas. If you're planning on cooking and saving leftovers you'll need your own saran wrap, plastic bags or food containers. Also briquettes are not provided for the BBQ. The access to the river is a short walk away. No access directly from the house. It was a short drive to activities in the Mt Hood area.

This was hands down the best rental we’ve booked in years! The house is huge, well-stocked, clean, and comfortable. Our family of 9 had plenty of room to spread out and enjoyed the games in the garage! The hot tub and deck area was perfect on hot summer nights, and the jacuzzi tub bathroom was a nice surprise! We wil definitely book again.

This was a great little house with awesome views. There was a nice little walking/biking path just down the road that follow the river and great views. The outdoor seating could be updated. A couple of chairs were broke and it's harder for older people to sit in the low chairs. We had family nearby who brought us camping chairs so it was more comfortable to sit outside. Other than that great spot and beds were comfortable.

Nice view of the river, wouldn't hurt to use the broom or leaf blower on walkways. Maybe wipe down the dust on hot tub cover along with fixing the doors so they don't fall on people while using the hot tub, kitchen was decent except both ovens were greasy and burnt food on the bottom of both ovens , garage was good size but needs a little appeal the moldy walls was a nice touch scared the kids they didn't want to use it... the Foosball table and ping pong table was one of the selling points is why we rented in the first place.. didn't mind the extra guest but I don't think the mouse paid. .all and all was decent place ...a little TLC can go along way ... If you're planning on cooking your own dinner you might want to bring your own cookware plenty of utensils but lacking cookware...don't mind the missing grass Trey in the bottom of the refrigerator the veggie trays hold things just fine...one last thing it's 30 yards from hwy 26.. I'm sure I missed a few things but I think we left it cleaner than when we found it..

When I arrived I was surprised how big it was. There were 5 of us but the house is quite large and would easily accommodate 9 people. Everything was clean and uncluttered, A few little quirks due to age of the home but no issues. We cooked all meals at home and the kitchen has most standard supplies. We knew to bring any special pans needed with us. It was nice to have a Keurig and complimentary coffee! The location is good with a grocery store just a couple miles down the road. The house is next to the highway but I didn't notice any road noise when inside. The front and backyards were also nice and big. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

~Our biggest complaint was how poorly the kitchen was prepared- a very limited supply of cheap (some useless) utensils, with only 2 kitchen towels provided. No ladle, for instance. No steamer. No mixing bowls. If you are picky about your utensils, bring your own- these will leave you swearing. The stove top had a non-functioning large burner that made meal prep even more exasperating. The exhaust/hood fan makes a loud and unbearable clicking noise. We have a total of 7 people, so kitchen time is important to us- we spent lots of time preparing meals. Also, the wall socket to the right of the stove was not in good shape- couldn't plug into the top outlet at all, and I had to hold the plug into the lower socket to grind my coffee. Dangerous.

Cozy, clean, and comfortable. Our only recommendations for a better experience would be ~ 1. we wish the ovens were normal size, or to be given a heads up that they weren’t full size. We did a late Thanksgiving and the ovens were so narrow, my roasting pans didn’t fit! We made it work though. -2. we also wish the outside grounds would have been cleaned better from needles and leaves. Especially around the hot tub and outside the doors. We cleaned it ourselves. 3. lastly, the hot tub was difficult to climb into and out of. And there was no way to fully remove the cover. We had to prop the cover against one of the gazebo windows on the inside, which impeded the view, and made it so our whole group couldn’t hot tub together. All in all, we loved it

We loved our stay here! It is a short drive from the Portland area, easy to get to, close enough to essentials (small restaurants, grocery, etc.) but still feels remote. The house is very spacious for the amount of people it's sleep. We really loved that it had 6 beds, making it perfect for the 6 of us girls visiting. The TV room was a dream for lounging and being a bum while the dining/living room space off the kitchen was perfect for chatting and games. We loved the hot tub but the hut it sits in was a little unkept. The view was amazing and even though the house sits close to the highway, there was zero road noise.

Our first impression of this house was that it was roomy but felt sterile. There are no lamps in the LR. No end tables in the TV room, no place to put a drink. No coffee pot just a Keurig. No sugar for coffee. The floors looked clean but left our socks dirty after walking around a bit. Dishwasher was falling out of the cabinetry. Only 3 of the 4 burners on the stove worked. The jetted tub didn't work. Once the handyman fixed it, lots of black debris came out of the jets. The central AC was broken. There was no window covering in the master bedroom. There were loose pavers around the perimeter of the patio. The cover of the hot tub was dirty so debris fell into the hot tub when I opened it. Once open, there was nowhere to put the cover except to prop it up against the inside of the enclosure. I was afraid it would fall on my head. We had to tack up a tarp in the master bedroom window for privacy. We had to buy fans since the A/C was broken. The property manager didn't offer to bring over fans for the house when I complained. When I mentioned the lack of curtains or blinds in the master bedroom she told me to tack up an extra sheet (there were no extra sheets in the house). We left a day early because the house got too hot. We were compensated for the last day but no additional compensation for the discomfort experienced while we were there. VRBO was unhelpful. Hard pass.

We rented this house while visiting family in the area. The bedrooms are all a great size, living areas are spacious, and the sound of the river on the back side of the house was lovely. We even got some use of the ping pong table and the hot tub. Lots of space for the family to spread out. Hot tub was a bit challenging to get into but nicely maintained. Sitting on the deck overlooking the river was peaceful and relaxing. Road noise in the front yard is quite noticeable, but the house does have easy access to the main highway up Mt Hood, including a nearby grocery store.

The beds were very comfortable, but would like to have reading lamps, rather than overhead lights. The kitchen cupboards could use a lot of maintenance, (the cabinet doors were loose on a lot of the units). The hot tub was not easy to get into and the shutters fell off when we checked it out. We did not use the hot tub because it was a little smelly and not inviting. The house itself worked well for my mom with mobility issues.
