Stayed Apr 2, 2026The location of this home is spectacular. Situated in a quiet, serene neighborhood, it offers a very short walk to a breathtaking (though steep) beach access. While the interior is dated, we found it a fair tradeoff for the incredible proximity to the coast and the fact that the property is listed as pet-friendly.However, we had a very disappointing experience regarding our pets. We were charged an extra 125 after checkout for ruined sheets due to pet hair. As experienced travelers who stay exclusively in pet-friendly rentals, we have never been told that standard pet hair requires full linen replacement or is beyond the scope of a professional cleaning.More concerning was the owner’s communication, falsely claiming rules were sent via text that we never received. We respect home rules and would never have booked if the pet-friendly status was so restrictive. While we paid the fee to avoid a squabble, the tone and unexpected charges made for an unpleasant end to our trip. If you travel with pets, be wary of the pet-friendly label here.
