Wonderful place to relax. Quiet place to stay, and still close to town.

Very clean and well stocked with cleaning, kitchen and bathroom supplies. The view and sun room were amazing. Very quiet and peaceful. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice cabin! Particularly enjoyed the great view, birdwatching, new kitchen appliances and comfortable bed. Hosts thought of everything to make this a great experience - thank you and we hope to be back!

The cottage sits on a magnificent lagoon. The grounds and water are home to wildlife a plenty. The cottage is well appointed, cozy and homey. Private beach access for beach combing. You cant help but relax and find your zen. I'll be back.

We absolutely loved this exquisite little cottage!!The sunroom is by far the highlight—easily the best room in the house. It offered a peaceful retreat where we spent hours watching hummingbirds. The kitchen is beautifully equipped with high-quality dishes, pots, and pans, making meal preparation a pleasure. The towels are plush, generous in size, and wonderfully fresh.The cottage is impeccably clean and very well maintained. The only thing we would change is the length of our stay—we truly wish we could have remained longer. This property is a solid 10 out of 10.We followed the hosts’ restaurant recommendations and were delighted with every dining experience. We also enjoyed a lovely hike to the nearby deserted island. The cottage far exceeded our expectations in every way.Beautiful flowers surround the property, adding to its charm and making it a truly special place. We highly recommend it and hope to return soon.

We love staying here! This was our second visit! The house is immaculately maintained. Just about everything is perfect! Can’t say enough good things! Great linen, wonderful kitchen, great coffee maker, and fabulous view! Our favorite pastime is sitting on the deck watching the birds and boats! So quiet and relaxing! The best!

We would like to rate this place 1 star so that it is available more often :-) but that wouldn't be fair to Deborah who is an outstanding host! We are repeat visitors to the lagoon and had another exceptional stay and the massive blooming lilac in early May made it extra special. Highly recommended!

This cottage might be my happy place. It is so perfect. The views are stunning, the wildlife is incredible, the cottage has everything you need. I have never stayed at a place where I thought I could come back here time and again and feel happy until I stayed here. It is close to Sequim, but enough distance to not have any traffic or road noise. The view from the deck is truely unbeatable. The yard is filled with flowers that attract colorful hummingbirds and chonky bumblebees. You can see Protection Island and Peninsula Park nearby and Mt. Baker and Vancouver Island in the distance. The lagoon that the house is on attracts tons of birds and other wildlife. Wake up early and sit in the sunroom overlooking the water to see what amazing creatures are visitors to the area. The host is super nice and very responsive. She has thoughtful touches throughout the house to make sure you have everything you need. Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage with us. We will be back here again.

Calling this property “a little piece of heaven “ would not be an exaggeration. Secluded, quiet, private, super clean, well-maintained, indeed “charming “. Even though it drizzled off and on while we were there, which the northwest is wont to do in May, we were very content sitting in the sunroom, watching the birds outside past the long expanse of lawn that extends down to the water. Really the only time we left the cottage was to go into town and get food. There are lots of great options for a food, even gluten-free food. We went to Saturday market on Saturday and met some really nice, friendly folks. We will definitely go there again. The 5 Hour Dr. was well worth it.

The kitchen was equipped nicely. The property is pet friendly. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, and watching the tide come and go. Would go again for sure.

The cottage was a dream to stay in. It was clean and so cozy. My dogs loved the yard and falling asleep to the sound of frogs croaking then waking to the birds singing and the sound of the water was heavenly. If I could bottle the feeling of serenity we left with, I'd never have to work again in my life. Absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to add a little bit of peace to their lives. And the host was wonderful too!!!

We loved it. So perfect for a quick and peaceful stay. Our pup was obsessed with the yard.

2nd time stay. Both were just right. Not fancy, but clean and comfortable. Minimum of goo-gaws. More space for our belongings. Kitchen is adequate for cooking meals. The best though: the glassed sunroom. We watched for birds at least 2 hours every day. We were very happy and relaxed with our stay.

We had a wonderful stay with our dog Mika. Enjoyed having a nice cup of tea in the sunroom after taking several long walks in the Sequim area each day. The view was lovely and the cottage and grounds were very inviting and cozy. Mika loved the yard and we all enjoyed watching the hummingbirds, ducks and blue herons. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The setting is peaceful and quiet and just a short drive from town. Perfect!

All the 5 star reviews are correct! Peaceful location, great kitchen, comfy beds and seating areas, simply wonderful. We spent several rainy hours sitting in the sun room and watching the vast array of birds in, on, and over the wetlands in front of us. The hummingbird feeder outside the window had a constant stream of tiny visitors.Our only complaint is that the shower flow is weak, but that can probably be fixed. We've already booked another stay in a warmer month when we can more fully explore the outdoor areas.

Our time in this charming cottage was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely return for another stay. Deborah was very kind and friendly and communicated immediately when any questions. The scenery was so beautiful, the house was comfy and clean and beds were also comfy. The cottage was decorated very nicely and felt very homie.

A deeply peaceful location--very quiet--with a wonderful view of a lagoon in a wildlife refuge. And the bungalow was very comfortable and clean with pleasing decor.

The cottage was amazing! Very private, warm and welcoming, clean from top to bottom. Everything we needed for our getaway was there. Added bonus were the binoculars for enjoying the wildlife. Thanks to our wonderful hosts!

We stayed one month at the Cottage during the winter and although the amount of sun on the property was at its lowest, we absolutely enjoyed everything about it! The house is very comfortable with everything we needed, the property is an expansive lawn with some beautiful trees here and there overlooking a large tidal lagoon with spectacular views and a special location that is quiet, privacy and yet not far from town at all!

I'm a frequent flyer at this cottage. It's beautifully maintained and peaceful. Deborah is a marvelous host.

The kitchen was well equipped, the sun room was absolutely beautiful and great for sipping coffee and watching the water, and the property was secluded and big so our dog could run and sniff and enjoy it!

This is an extremely peaceful, quiet, clean and welcoming cottage with wonderfully helpful hosts! Lord willing, we will return again. Well stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds. We had a list of activities we were considering but once we settled in we did not want to go anywhere!

We fell in love with the sunroom and its view of the water. We also cooked a big pot of stew and invited the friends we were visiting over for dinner. It was lovely to host them in such a cozy and comfortable place. And the kitchen is wonderful!

My friend and I had the most amazingly relaxing weekend at this property! The cottage was adorable! The beds were incredibly comfortable, the bedding and towels were top quality, the cottage itself was impeccably clean. Without a doubt one of the absolute best places at which we have stayed!We loved being away from everyone yet still within a 10 minute drive of downtown. Waking up and sitting in the sunroom with coffee in the mornings was a great start to the day!In the evening we crashed on the very comfy couches and enjoyed access to a number of streaming services.Communication with Deborah, the host, was always easy, quick, and helpful.5 stars - highly recommend!

Highly recommended! We spent 4 nights relaxing and exploring the Sequim area. Great place in a great location right on the lagoon and close to town. The cabin has everything -- a great kitchen with everything needed for meals, great deck for relaxing while watching the bird life, great sunroom for when the temperatures drop, great bedrooms, and great privacy. Oh, and a great, friendly owner. The very high guest ratings are well deserved.

We had a great time at this cottage. I had a hard time leaving the sunroom to go about our other Sequim activities. The lagoon is beautiful and so full of birds! The cottage was super clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, a great kitchen and so quiet. We really want to come back again and again.

We had a truly lovely stay. I'm afraid to say much positive things as bookings can be hard to get and we want the place to ourselves, eh.There were so many bonuses like hummingbirds constantly feeding in front of the main windows. An eagle couple bathed then perched on a bare tree nearby. And the blackberries! The home was well appointed, everything was spot on. I especially liked the hot water on tap, instant chocolate or chai. It's a really sweet cottage!

Beautiful manicured setting overlooking a magnificent lagoon and beyond the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Protection Island National Wildlife Refuge, and the San Juan Islands and Mt Baker are visible.Everything about this house makes you want to spend time there. It’s a multiple year vacation choice for us and we’ve booked 2026 already. There is no nicer place to stay on VRBO if you like quiet, an incomparable setting and a well designed, very comfortable house. The Best.

This is the most perfect place! The cabin is spotless and so is the yard. We really appreciate the privacy of the location and the beautiful views which change with the tides. This was our 3rd visit and we’ll definitely be returning.

The waterfront cottage is a delightful experience. This was our 7th stay at the cottage and it has always been perfect in every respect. Super clean, super comfortable, amazing setting and an owner, Debbie, who has anticipated all that her guests might need for a pleasant stay.

We treasure this especially well kept, clean and accessible cottage whose sweeping lawns hug a lagoon, teeming with wildlife. A spring chortle of frogs greeted us upon our arrival. There is always a changing panorama of herons, eagles and Roosevelt elk. The Cottage is where we find peace, beauty and serenity. Our reservations for another stay are already in place! Perfect place for a quiet retreat. The house is perches on a sloped vast yard that gave our dog lots of freedom to stretch his legs. An attached solarium is a great place to soak in the view when it is chilly out. Beautiful sunrise and sunset. Easy checkin with host. Great access to town and coastline. The Cottage exceeded our expectations in every way! Water, water, water stretches for as far as the eye can see. Beautiful secluded, well-kept grounds with a marsh, relatively level green lawn to the water’s edge (rare in Sequim), and trees that attract eagles and other wildlife. The Cottage had everything we could want – squeaky clean, comfortable, very nice accessories, and accessible. Even an electrical outlet to charge our EV car! Had a blast at Happy Valley Alpaca Ranch. Don’t miss the Olympic Game Farm – a once in a lifetime experience. Love Alder Wood Bistro and Gabby’s bread pudding for breakfast. The host is superb with excellent communications who really cares.

Very nice cottage on an exceptional property. The lagoon view is magnificent and full of life with birds coming and going by the hour. Our dog loved walking the grassy lawn by the shore. The kitchen amenities were exceptional, we wanted for nothing. We look forward to another stay!

Despite not having the best weather, it was a wonderful place to stay with my daughter and her baby. I would love to stay there in the summer!

This VRBO was very nice. The weather was a little crummy so my wife & I ended up spending much of one day inside...which was fine cuz the wife enjoyed one of the puzzles and I nearly finished my book. This place is at the end of the road so essentially no traffic. It was a short walk past some friendly donkeys and a working farm to Gibson spit. The tide flats were home to bunches of water fowl, some otters, and a seal. The solarium was a nice place to enjoy morning coffee or watch the sun set on Mt. Baker. We'd stay here again.

Wonderful, as always. Glorious sunrises and sunsets from the sunroom windows. Well stocked, could make just about any meal you could imagine. Basic condiments in the fridge and pantry staples, including sugar and spices. Grocery store just 3 miles away.

The cottage was clean, comfortable and well-equipped with a very comfortable bed. It was our third visit in four years. We couldn’t be happier with this place. Recommend highly!

I booked this as a last minute weekend getaway with my partner and our dog. The peacefulness and privacy was unrivaled. The house was very clean, with everything we needed for our stay. Directions from the host were very clear, and I did not need to contact them for clarification on anything. There are basically no neighbors to this property, just a view across the lagoon and out into the sound. A large area of sandy beach is accessible via a private bridge after a short drive down a private road. Even though this sand spit belongs to the property owners we still saw a few other people walking around on it. However, this is at a distance from the house itself. The land the house is on is basically protected from the outside world. Inside the house, things were very cozy. The solarium was a nice place to sit and look at birds through my spotting scope while eating breakfast. We built a fire in the wood stove during the evening. Overall this was a wonderful stay and I have no complaints!

10/10! My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at this charming cottage. Bird watching from the sunroom was a highlight, and we highly recommend it for a relaxing experience. The cottage was the perfect size for the two of us and had everything we needed to prepare light meals for the weekend. There were also a collection of games to keep us entertained. The town had so much to offer in early December, including a festive tractor light parade(yes, you read that right), a holiday craft bazaar, and numerous light displays. We especially recommend visiting the holiday light display near the casino—it was stunning. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this rental to our friends!

This home and property are fantastic. Private setting yet close to town with all the comforts of home. Our dog loved the freedom to get some exercise. Views unbeatable, great dog park just down the road, discovery trail very close. Wife and I have decided to make this a regular get away!!

We’re Sequim locals, and invited family here for a long weekend to stay with us at the cottage. I can’t say enough about how great our stay was. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, and stocked with everything you need. The sunroom was perfect for reading, watching eagles, seals and waterfowl or just taking in the amazing views. The location is close to town for errands or activities, but feels like your own paradise worlds away. Although there is plenty to do in the area, one evening we just chose to stay in to watch football because the living room is so comfortable! The bedrooms are decorated beautifully and the beds are plush and cozy. The host was amazing - so helpful and responsive! My husband and I loved it so much here we ended up booking an extra night after our guests left. We will definitely be back - our new local getaway!

I've stayed here a dozen times. During my last stay there was a wind storm. Deborah called to check that we hadn't lost power and let us know that they'd hook up a generator for the well of necessary. Cabin as always was beautiful.welnecessary
