This lovely home on nearly 4 acres in the country, yet close to town, provides the perfect place to relax from all your daily duties in the real world. It was built in 1998 and was recently remodeled with an updated cabin vibe. The downstairs includes the master and guest bedrooms and one bathroom that is accessible outside the master bedroom. The master bath features a shower, sink and toilet in a separate space from an additional sink in its own space, so two can get ready at one time. There is a mudroom with a stacked washer/dryer unit on this level. The upstairs open floor plan with wall-to-wall windows offers a great perch from which to view the visiting Elk and Bald Eagles that frequent the area, while you dine, read, or enjoy wine on the deck. The kitchen is well appointed with appliances for preparing food for dining in. This level offers a second bath with a jetted tub, and a view of the forest while you relax and soak. Additionally there is a small sitting room with views of the walking paths through the woods, which can double as an extra bedroom for two people. Walk the woods, stroll the garden or entertain on the upper deck or lower patio in this peaceful quiet place you will not want to leave.
When you do leave for food or entertaining activities, you are only a short mile and a half drive or bicycle ride from many restaurants, shops, the art gallery and farmer's market just to name a few. Additionally the area has wonderful bike paths, community theater, The Voice of America Dungeness Recreation Area and The Spit, Railroad Bridge Park, John Wayne Marina, The Olympic Game Farm, and the Seven Cedars Casino.

Our stay in Sequim was perfect. David and Tanya are absolutely wonderful hosts and great communicators. The cabin was perfectly located for us and off the beaten path to allow us to unwind each day after our adventures in the area. We were less than 10 min away from the grocery stores and the town of Sequim, which made it very convenient. Almost every morning and evening we saw deer in the garden and the meadow behind the cabin. Our family's schedule had to be adjusted slightly 1 month before our arrival, and David was awesome in his communication and resolution for our family of 5. If you are thinking about visiting the area, I will highly recommend staying here without reservation.

This is an excellent location and rental. The host is super available to answer any questions, the places, immaculate and is in a great spot to get around the general Sequim area. It has all the amenities you need also to get through including dishwasher, sink, stove, microwave, toaster, etc. We made some meals there and it went very well.Highly recommend this for anyone wanting to explore this area.

This place deserves its high rating. Everything about our stay was perfect. Hosts made it easy to check in/out. VERY quiet, comfortable. King bed was so nice. It has everything needed for a great stay. Two things that might be worth mentioning but would not take away from the top rating. The TV is not a smart TV, bring your own roku or fire stick or laptop/tablet to connect to the HDMI cable to get your favorite streaming services. And the shower in the main floor is a walk-in but not very big. The showerhead hits a 6' 2 guy in the chest. Not too small but not spacious either. Still this isn't worth lowering the rating. Just the only 2 things that caused us pause. We would stay again in a hearbeat. Sequim is a great little town between Port Angeles and Port Townsend. Had everything we needed.

Beautiful, private location and conveniently located to town. The hike was well appointed, the communication with our host was great. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. I would caution, if you have any issues with your hips and/or knees, be aware that there is a flight of stairs up to the kitchen & living room area of the home, this was of no issue to us, but could be for others.

My dog and I had a peaceful stay for the two nights we were here. The windows in the main room give a nice view of the countryside. My dog liked the privacy and the small private trails through the woods. The fences were a bit too short in some spots to contain my large, athletic dog, so I kept him on a long leash. But the fences would probably be enough for a small-medium sized dog or a dependable large dog. The main bedroom was very comfortable and felt very cozy in the mornings. David was very kind and responsive in his communications.

The house was super cozy, and the property is well maintained. We had views of the mountains nearby and had a bald eagle sighting! The frogs were fairly loud at night when you have the window open but they didn’t keep us awake. Beds and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was small but we were able to cook our meals just fine. The only small disappointment was that the listing advertised a wood stove but the host then asked us not to use it. It would have been nice to have the fire to enhance the cozy cabin vibes. Otherwise, it was lovely, especially for the price, and I’d definitely stay again!

This location is in the country but is super close to town and trails. I'll chime in on others' remarks that the deck was a wonderful space to use for morning coffee, afternoon breaks, and evening hang outs. There's a patio underneath as well, so your group members can have their own space outdoors if they wish. The bonus area off the living room was terrific for our classical guitarist to use while the rest of us had coffee on the deck. All of the furniture and beds were comfortable. All the kitchen tools we needed were there, and the outdoor grill was terrific to have. The host has been very careful with fencing, so as long as you don't have a small dog, yours probably can't get out of the yard. Kids would love the yard as well. Considerations for your trip: you have to be able to do stairs to be in this home (not a problem for us) and the kitchen counter space is limited - but the table is close for extra space you might need.
