Charming Burdett Home with Grill, Gazebo + Yard

The shower should of had a mat on the tub so u don,t slip and fall which happen to one of us and smoke alarm in back bedroom keep going off

We had issue with lock outside could not open , in Lillie while someone came and they couldn’t open either wasted 1 hr to get in finally guy gave us new key One more than water quality was so bad , smell like fish died , we were so scared to use to cook We spend so much money on water even taking shower or morning mouth care was impossible Please talk to owner , not healthy at all Otherwise no issue close to all

Everything was perfect for my sister’s 70th birthday.

The kitchen was adequate, but the toaster should be replaced. I believe it is a fire hazard The bathrooms were nice. The touch pad in the main bathroom did not work so no fan during showers. We had a great time with Uno and Jenga. Very comfortable rooms, beds etc. plenty of space. Love the central location to all the things.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Burdett! The house was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of spices, pots & pans in the kitchen, and even shampoo & body wash in the bathrooms. We enjoyed lounging on the couches, cooking family dinner, and relaxing on the back deck. House was very clean. We come up every year and will be looking at booking this again next fall.

Great house in the finger lakes The house was well-equipped, clean, and comfortable.

Great place, very quiet. Double wide 1980’s mobile home, bring your hair band 80’s cassette tapes for the sound system! Garage was available for use and clean. Some doors don’t stay closed but with a little lift on the knobs they do. Beautiful back porch for unwinding, fire-pit with firewood on site. Will definitely stay again!

Great weekend. The location of the house was perfect.

My family and I enjoyed out stay here over the long weekend. The house is excellently located for wine-tasting along Senaca Lake. I highly recommend Ozmote!I think it's important to note that while there are technically 4 bedrooms, two of them are rail-roaded so you would have to pass through one to get to the other. I don't believe this was clear in the description, so it could be a slight issue if you're expecting completely private space in each room.The water is also highly mineraly (sulfer/iron). I highly recommend that hosts provide a brita in the fridge, or that you bring filtered water to drink.

The home is centrally located in a very quiet and serene setting. It’s within 5 minutes of Watkins Glen, close to Ithaca and Seneca Lake wineries. The porch was great for outdoor dining, and there’s a gas grill. Everything was very clean and there were plenty of dishes and cooking utensils, and a dishwasher. We were thrilled that we each had our own bedroom (four) and there were 2 full bathrooms. My only suggestion would be to let folks know that there’s a substantial step up into the shower in one of the bathrooms. Overall, we had a wonderful stay in Burdett!

Just ok. But thats ok. Nothing spectacular. Just enough for our stay. Everything worked fine. We loved the old school radio in the wall and speakers in the ceiling. Would love to see some curtains even though there are blinds on the windows. Need some ceiling fans in each room. We really didn't stay in the house much anyway.

Great stay and wonderful trip 。

The property was as described. We loved the back porch, 4 bedrooms, and two car garage. We also took full advantage of the grill and kitchen. There were two issues and one suggestion. First, there were several bedroom and one of the bathroom doors that would not close completely. Second, we found a number of ants in both the kitchen and even in the love seat at the front of the living room. Finally, there are smart switches in several locations throughout the house. We tried unsuccessfully to turn various features (night light, fan) on/off but were unable to figure out how they operated. Maybe include a write up regarding their operation in the checking/checkout binder. In general this property worked out well for our group.

Beautiful quiet country setting and close to our destinations. Lovely back porch to enjoy the serenity. We would've rated it excellent if not for the dead rodent in the ventilation system. The heater was on when we arrived which caused the smell to spread through the house. We had to open the windows to ventilate. We left a message with the host and he never responded.

Total lack of communication from owner

House was fresh out of 1980, old bathroom, kitchen, no tvs in bedrooms . We couldn't find the remote for the only tv. Two of us also saw mice running down the hall way. Besides that wasnt bad.

This home was situated on a beautiful lot in a nice, private lot close to all amenities and the state park. The barbecue was a great idea.

Clean home, fully stocked, beautiful property and close to Watkins Glen attractions. I never used VRBO before so I was a little leery but the communication with the host and Evolve was excellent! We are looking forward to returning next year with our family.

We had a great vacation at the charming Burdett house. There was plenty of room and the four of us each had their own bedroom. The house was neat and clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was very close to Watkins Glen State park for hiking, plenty of places to eat nearby and easily accessible to the wineries in the area, Looking forward to next year!

Would give 4.5 stars if it was an option. House was clean and well stocked. Walk through bedroom was noted in the listing, and would be fine for kids. We only ended up with 3 couples so it wasn’t an issue for us. Grill was out of gas which was kind of a bummer since we had planned to cook out. Location was good, and very peaceful.
