Charming bungalow in the heart of Southwest Colorado

This property was the best Vrbo I have ever stayed in. The hosts literally took any guesswork of what we might need during our stay with a full kitchen supplies, cleaning, coffee maker, etc. The hosts literally thought of everything you might need during your stay. The backyard was great to spend the evening, and have a glass of wine that were complimentary. Only about a 12 mile drive to Mesa Verde, this house was the perfect base camp for our stay. Thanks for the great stay.

This is such a cute home. Well kept and maintained. We felt welcome and so did our dog. Nothing was missing, they thought of everything. I would definitely recommend this home. Thank you Jamie and Rodney.

It was a perfect house with everything we needed. We visited Mesa Verde and Four corners. We enjoyed it very much.

This is one of the nicest VRBO’s we’ve stayed in. It was super clean, cozy and felt like coming home each day. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. All the linens and towels were very nice. The hosts were quick to repspond. Very convenient to Mesa Verde, Canyon of the Ancients and within an hour of Durango. There is a side window by the carport door that might benefit from some privacy film.

Wonderful update to a cute little 1950s-ish home ...the hosts have thought of everything! More than pet friendly our four legged babies had plenty of yard to explore and loved that there were blankets especially for them to lounge on the furniture just like home! Would highly recomend!

Very clean and accommodating. We spent time playing outside on the big back yard and enjoyed board games inside in the front room. We had a very comfortable stay cooking and preparing all our meals in the well equipped kitchen. Everyone was well rested thanks to the comfortable beds and clean linens. There was plenty of hot water as we all showered. The host was very kind and interested letting us know she was just a message away should we have any needs.

We found the home to be nicely decorated, well stocked and very clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our time in Cortez. We visited locations in the area. The house was very clean and nicely furnished and everything needed was available. We would return, if the bungalow was available if we were to visit again. The owners were great to solve any problems.

We really enjoyed this home! It was accurate to the description, our dog loved the huge fenced in yard and the house was extremely clean. We would stay here again!

I would rate 10 stars if I could. Immaculately clean, very comfortable. We made a game of looking for something we could need and absolutely everything was there. Forgot a toothbrush? Got it. First aid? Yup. Spring water for your hike? 2 gallons. Thoughtfully curated and fully appointed. We will stay here again.

This property is perfect! It’s so cute, stocked with more items than most vacation rentals and it’s within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Communication was quick and Jamie was delightful! I highly recommend staying here!

Best rental ever! Nicely maintained and decorated. Lots of extras: welcome wine, snacks, coffee, tea, cooking ingredients. Great location convenient to main st and mesa verde. Hope to visit again.

Since we always take our dogs with us when we travel, this bungalow had the perfect backyard for them. They were in heaven!! Also getting them into the yard was very accessible!! The house was located in a quiet neighborhood with huge trees for shade. We enjoyed sitting outside in the lawn chairs in the evenings. Inside the home, everything was super clean and so cozy. Jamie and Rodney thought of everything and anything that was needed for our stay. We enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay there again.

The house was beautiful, with a large fenced in back yard for our dog.The house was fully prepped with all the amenities.The owners were easy to communicate with and very accommodating.Overall amazing!We would stay here again the next time we visit Cortez!

Place was amazing. Spotless, had everything we needed and anything we could want. So many special touches. My wife daughter and I agree this was our favorite Vrbo we've stayed at over the years.

Very clean. Well appointed with many small touches that indicated the hosts really care. Stayed a full week with our loved elderly pet. He LOVED the back yard and we loved sitting out with him while so shared cocktails and cooked steaks on the grill. A perfect base for a full week of fun day trips!! Would stay here again.

We had the best stay at what is definitely the most charming bungalow in Cortez! Jamie and Rodney’s attention to detail between thoughtful welcome snacks, plentiful amenities, lovely decor, and thorough recommendations and check-in/out instructions were greatly appreciated. The home was clean, bedding comfy, and kitchen stocked with essentials. After a day of hiking in Mesa Verde NP, it was great to have such a short (15-min) drive to the home, and an even shorter drive into town for a little sweet treat at DQ. We wish we could have stayed longer and if we ever find ourselves back in Colorado, hope to stay here again!

Coming from southern Utah to visit friends in Mancos and ride the Silverton train, we found the perfect oasis in Cortez to serve as our central hub for the trip. Surprisingly roomy on the inside, comfortable, adorably furnished and equipped with everything we could possibly need for our stay. The back yard was a wonderful plus, providing shade and plenty of green grass and space for the pup to run around. Staying in Cortez was an added bonus as we took advantage of the close proximity to downtown to spend a few unplanned hours one morning happily wandering the shops on main street. Would definitely stay again!

Fabulous stay at this cute cottage. Very clean. Our dogs enjoyed the spacious backyard. Everything about this cottage was great. If we could give 10 stars, we would.

This home is so much more than we expected! Incredibly clean, cozy and comfortable, and the hosts provide all the extras to really make you feel welcomed. Easy drive to Mesa Verde National Park and the whole SW region of Colorado.We would love to stay here again the next time we visit!

We absolutely loved our stay at Jamie & Rodney’s place! Their place was decorated beautifully, was extremely clean, and had all the comforts of home. The hosts were so generous and thoughtful with all the little extras (snacks/toiletries), which was very much appreciated. We enjoyed porch visits from the neighborhood cats, which was an unexpected bonus, as we were missing ours from back home! The only additions I’d love to see for potential future visits is a bbq grill and maybe a fire pit. If we ever find ourselves in Cortez again, we wouldnt look any further than Jamie & Rodney’s!

I wish I could give this home more stars! I have rented many homes and this was perfect. The house is small but well laid out with two comfortable bedrooms. The decor is very nice. The owners have obviously spent a lot of time thinking of everything. Check in/out directions were simple, there were signs in the home explaining everything. It was clean and well equipped with dishes, essentials, etc. I wish I could have stayed longer. I can't say enough about this home and these very thoughtful owners.

Everything about the house is wonderful! Huge backyard for kids to play, very clean, comfy beds and every detail thought of, from forgotten toiletries to snacks provided by the hosts. Best VRBO experience to date.

The house is exactly as pictured. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything that you would need. House was very clean, it was perfect for out visit to Mese Verde National Park.

We were here for 2 nights and felt so at home. Jamie and Rodney have made this place like it was anyone's home....with all the supplies and extras someone would want. It was so clean, and comfortable! Thanks for a great stay!

When we first saw the house we were not impressed as it was on the corner of a fairly busy street. However, once we opened the front door, we were amazed of the cleanliness and the cozy feeling. It was one of the best places we have stayed at through VRBO. Communication with the owner was great. The house had all the amenities you could want and had extra toilettries in case you forgot something or ran out.

We were in town for a mountain bike race and a tour of the National Park. The place is near main street and only 10 minutes from the park entrance, well kept and stocked with all the essential items. You can tell the owners truly care about the renters. Only half our family was planning on staying as the other half was supposed to camp at the race campsite, but the place was too roomy and accommodating. We had to all take advantage of the location except for the night before the race.

We have had the pleasure to spend 3 days in Cortez in the Jaimie and Rodney’s home. Everything was confortable and convenient. We had the chance to spend 3 sunny days. The whole was perfect.Thanks Jaimie and Rodney.

We are repeat renters so that speaks for itself. This rental is well furnished - kitchen has anything you might need, bathroom has toiletries (including toothbrush I forgot;), and the king bed was comfortable. Our dog loves the back yard and hanging out on the front porch with her dog bed. Location walkable to Montezuma Ave.and town

This charming bungalow was exactly as advertised: clean, well stocked, convenient location and perfectly decorated. The yard was perfect for the pups. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. The hosts were great. We were welcomed with wine and snacks which were really appreciated after a long day of travel.

This charming little bungalow fit our needs for a home base perfectly. The beds were super comfortable --even the pillows!! The bathroom is clean and modern as is the rest of the house. It is only about 8 miles from the entrance to Mesa Verde. Which, BTW, if you are staying, you have to drive up at night for an amazing view of the Milky Way!
